I really enjoyed the interview. For the first time, a writer is so interesting to be heard and watched. Shahjahan jesi khawateen bal k is se bhi zyada negative loug hain is dunya mai. Actually you ppl are blessed not to have such people in your lives. However, the real life is full of such people. The TV must show them as unlikeable characters also their anjaaam so that society may be improved. Lougo ki islaah k liye zaruri hai k in jesey lougo ka bura anjaam dikhaya jaye.

Such an interesting interview . Do teen ghante ka bhi hota to bhi dekh lete . So nice to see Mere Humsafar from the writer"s point of view . Sach kahe to Hamza ek aam insaam jise hum viewers ne farishta bana diya hai. Uss se bhi galtiya ho sakti hai. Balki real life me mard chahe jitna bhi padha likha ho uski soch purane zamane jaisi hi hoti hai. Jaha tak Hala ke baar baar Hamza par doubt karne ki baat hai , taijaan uske andar itna dar paida kar diya hai ki usdy Hamza ka pyar nazar nahi aa raha . This drama has brought a change in my outlook towards my life and I have to admit that Hamza's character has made me fall in love with my husband all over again . I have suddenly realised that he is actually like Hamza {after 18 yrs of marriage} ☺️ This drama I can say has touched everyone's life whoever is watching in some way or the other . Saira Ji is so interesting to listen to! Thank you so much for inviting a writer to talk about their work! Saira Ji's perspective on Hamza is really interesting and I tend to agree with her. I don't really see Hamza or Hala as perfect and it seems they haven't been written that way either. However, as viewers, we tend to want to create protagonists as perfect examples of males and females. I am more irritated with Hala being glorified too much in the narrative. How I see it, Hala isn't a liar but she has lied to Hamza about her relationship with Khurrum and has never apologised to Hamza for that and we will never see her do it either. I accept what Saira Ji says about Hala being worried that telling the truth could end her marriage but now that the truth is out, what stops her from apologising for lying about it??? No female protagonist ever apologises to a male protagonist for something she has actually done wrong in a Pakistani drama. They apologise when they have done nothing but not when they are to blame. Pir mazloom nahi lagay gi na??? What's that about?? I wish that Saira Ji had talked a bit about Mohabbat Dagh Ki Soorat. I really appreciated that story. It was a brave story that really pushed the boundaries of what can be shown on Pakistani TV. This was a story about consent, desire, girls' reproductive education, women's careers, and maternal instinct or lack thereof. It was a story about the messiness of marriage, love, and desire both physical and emotional. We saw a man and a woman work at a marriage and how long it can take to fix something that gets broken right at the start. It was beautifully rendered by Sami Ji and Neelam Ji but that's my take on it. It would have been wonderful to hear Saira Ji's thoughts on the story.

with due respect i want to say why all people including RABIA G are saying that hala is doing wrong by distrusting hamza . Two main incidents the one when shahjahan gave her medicine and second khuram 's apperance reflect that hamza does'nt trust hala . Even he is not ready to listen a single word against his mother. shahjahan' s hatred for hala is to the point that she tried to kill her . How you people are expecting that she should trust hamza . I completely agree that her fear for baby is justified.

I don't watch Mere humsafer regularly ya I do watch promo depending on my mood I can say story not new yet touchy ,giving strong masges, I appreciate Hala without make up her appearance making us believe her fears sadness lose deprivation insecurity I like Hamz ' s manly yet soft side, his eyes + face ful of emotions shock love his eyes talk he stuck between two women whom he loves his mother did alot for him he is educated by virtue of his mother's efforts he loves Hala he accepted Hala as she is he tried grooming her he gave her voice n confidence, yet both don't trust eachother in some cases, let's see how story unfolds She shuld get all credit she created Hala n Humza.

Somewhere, even I feel that the relationship between Hala and Khurram is being hidden or negated by the creators. Not sure why. Even if they both liked each other, she has closed that chapter already when Hamza asked her to marry her. Then why this much concern about her past! Let a woman be.
