Sister, you really need to understand the difference between the mazhab teachings which differs from Pakistan and Malaysia and Bangladesh etc. Malaysia predominantly follows the Shafie mazhab, that's why Malaysian Muslims do things differently than the Pakistanis or Bangladeshi or Saudis. Muslim women have some degree of equality in mazhab Shafie compared to other mazhab, that's all.

I am Malaysian and visited Pakistan alone last year. I traveled to the North and spent a few days in Islamabad and Lahore. The scenery was amazing, and the people were incredibly nice. I have never encountered a place where ride-hailing drivers (inDrive) refused to accept the fare, but I experienced that several times there. I literally had to leave the money on the car seat because the driver simply wouldn't accept it. It's unfortunate that the country is in such a state and its people have to endure it.

The woman are respected in Pakistan too i dont know why Saira said these things but she is not right in what she said there are more good people in pakistan than bad. Women in Pakistan are doctors, lawyers, teachers and they can move freely and drive too. Maybe she had a bad experience but her suggestion that the whole country is like that is wrong. There are more conservative regions in the country yes but it is not as she suggests. It is not like malaysia either though. It is different. And Pakistani men are the one of thw most respectful and kind men you will meet anywhere i would know since i am married to one, have one as my fwther and one as my son and one as my brother.❤

talking about touching in particular... i actually saw firsthand in Malaysia, one Pakistani man trying to do the same to a malay sister who work in the courier industry and that really gives a bad reputation to South Asian man in particular. She feel disgusted and i feel disgusted by that because of how uncommon that is to happen in Malaysia. Culturally the man and woman don't get too familiar with each other like that. you know even the act of handshakes between man and woman is rare unlike in Indonesia. so being perverted like that really makes us wary. Hence sometimes racism towards south asian (man in particular) is shared between locals. racism as in *avoiding* them, not targeting people of certain demographic like it is done in the west who just go around minding their own business.

I think it's more about how your brain is wired. Ethnically we are Pakistani no doubt but people who have been bought up in another country will think differently, have different conceptual perspectives. Eg arrange marriages to the village boy and girl... Not saying it don't work but compatibility can become a serious issue. Ethnically the same but from 2 different worlds. Something to think about!!!!
@CKent84
@CKent84 Ай бұрын
@@HaroonKhan-lu4xu Sorry, but you're getting "ethnicity" confused with "culture". A person's ethnicity can never change regardless of where they live or which passport they hold, whereas cultural effects and affiliations will vary from place to place. So a Pakistani or Bengali born or brought up in Malaysia will significantly vary culturally with one in Japan as an example. But both will be ethnically Pakistani or Bengali - that never changes. Similarly, strictly speaking "British" is not an ethnicity but a nationality. So for example, I could lose my British nationality and then go and live in France, few years later apply for Citizenship and become a French Citizen. Here the word "French" means either an ethnicity or nationality or both. If I'm Pakistani then I would be "French" by nationality but obviously can't be "French" by ethnicity. These are distinctions that are easily overlooked. In this video I was pertaining to the fact that some people take joy and pride in impressing on others the belief that they are a different ethnicity to that of their parents because they feel proud of being eg British or feel ashamed of being known as belonging to that ethnic group.
@CKent84
@CKent84 Ай бұрын
@@shabrahhussain9680 It's a pretty obvious thing being said here, and with that formula surprised you came to that erroneous conclusion. If you look at my original comment properly, then applying your very own formula it translates into "my parents were born in x (parents from so and so country)," hence I am "x" (talking about people who don't mention this hence I said they want to force others to infer they're something different to that of their parents ethnicity), but I was born in "y" (yes, indeed the mentioning of this point eg Britain, is asking others to think they are that ethnicity of of origin). Furthermore, no passport in any nation is given pre-birth! And furthermore, by being born in a particular country doesn't affect one's ethnicity, merely their potential nationality to be given, There's even laws that deals with that for people born in aeroplanes too.
@CKent84
@CKent84 Ай бұрын
@@shabrahhussain9680 Force doesn't necessarily mean others will accept it. How is that a contradiction when I say when one is even born on the moon their ethnicity doesn't change ie is not affected, meaning if they're a Pakistani they will remain a Pakistani even though they were born on Jupiter? No contradictions at all! Also, When one is talking about ethnicity (context) the fact they leave their own ethnicity out of it and shoot off about where their parents are from when they could just say "I'm Pakistani" (see, no need to even mention where their bloody parents are from) then you know that person is having issues with their self and ego and is forcing the notion that they are ie British, American etc . I think you need to retake lessons in English and logic. Good start, I see that you managed to put an ' after the "s" in parents whereas I mistakenly put it in between the t and s.

You are telling the truth about Pakistan. For the most part, the Pakistani culture is rotten. Where millions of children do not have access to schools and education, we should not expect that country to make progress or join the global economy. I don't see light at the end of the tunnel for the people in that God-forsaken country. It's better to avoid it.

Theres alot of security in those flats. Also if you wore Pakistani clothes no one would stare at you. Nobody stares at me. You got stared at because your wearing arab dress. You are right about the drinking water. The government needs to build water filtration plants so the entire country gets clean drinking water in the taps.

As a Malaysian, I personally don't know anybody who drinks from the tap like Westerners. Yes, our minister may have said our water is now clean enough, but most of us are still not accustomed to that. Many of us have water filters at home, and as for my family, my wife insists that we even boil the filtered water to be 100% bacteria-free.😂
