He also could have killed Boros with a single punch. He was intentionally holding back so Boros could have the fight he was looking for because Saitama sympathized with his desire for a challenge. It was essentially the equivalent of an adult letting a toddler smack them around so they feel better about their strength.

I don't think this is what happened. He was reassuring him in his power to show his respect, but Boros said that wasn't even a fight. I think this is a hint that Saitama pretended to struggle and said this to relieve him. They shared a common wish to have a real fight and that's why Saitama didn't want to disappoint Boros by saying this wasn't even a challenge. But in reality he did know that Boros was stronger then others only by his words and context and not by his fighting - for Saitama he is just as weak as any other monster. It just like when he answers Genos when he asks if Saitama noticed him becoming stronger. Something like: "Sure, I notices. Your guns became bigger and shinier!" For him this difference in speed and power so insignificant that he needs visual hints that something has more damage.

@@LongRest I think saitama can see the difference in speed by a fair bit, he mentioned that genos was "a bit faster from the last time we messed around." But yeah I agree power wise he probably can't tell how strong somebody is unless they send him flying a fair distance.

@@rieiid5867Ehh tbh it's not really the Studio MADHOUSE itself being the answer to the S1's animation quality (And none of the animation staff here aren't even from Studio MADHOUSE either). Shingo Natsume is the answer to Season 1's animation quality especially with his involvement and connection to some the skilled and famously well-known big name animators beloved by 2D animation fans (from freelancers to animators from different studios) are actually working on this show. Same animation staff can also be found in Space Dandy :3

@@crims4938 I had a friend who used to look like real life version of Saitama. He also had the same serious attitude. Except he was a real life person and looked more gorgeous in my eye. He had a dark toned eye lashes almost anime like in contrast to the eye. It still haunts me. Idk everytime I see Saitama I just get reminded of him which is kinda weird.

People talk as if the Saitama training was mid. But the 10 kilometers run every day is brutal. Did it two days and stopped... i think it even left me still today some issues... Thank God i stopped xD. But i guess, like the 100 on a row, which also made me piss blood toned and not be able to walk almost except with hardship for a month or two... Then if you do the thing slowly, in increments, then it's possible. Keep training, just do it slowly, don't rush it... and real life is not like anime xD Although anime may motivate you, which is good

@@TheZerosd Bro i literally got pain in the knees like crazy xD. Bear in mind i had no previous training on this, pure anime motivation. Also i did 100 sqats with no training and literally couldn't move well for a month and a while... xD. The funny part is that later i trained and did 150 with no issue... only stopping to not get injured again... because i trained progressively. For sure, 10km is perfectly doable if you have trained, but if you do it raw then i don't think it's a good idea...
