Love how despite Saitama's insane power he's basically an NPC even in a story named entirely about him. Genos starts talking about corruption in the Hero Association and Saitama's reaction is literally 'whoa how do you know about all that' and then just envy that no one asked him to be a neo-hero. Poor guy will forever be the Caped Baldy even in his own franchise. He's just so oblivious and unambitious (just like us fr fr).

The 6 month timer starts during the S1 finale of OPM not when Genos became Saitamas student.

@@commodorezero yea but in OPM timezone, the time stamp between Genos becoming Saitamas disciple(ep5) & the finale should be between a few days or a week or two apart so it should still be in the same month. This is one of the only times where ONE specifically puts down a time stamp so this should indicate that we’re 1/3rd of the way through the series. It makes more sense this way.

@@ben54321 I don't know season 1 time moved much faster in universe then it has since. There were more gaps in S1 where a few days or a week might have passed etc whereas in season 2 onwards it's been more day to day and even hour to hour. But yeah regardless the 6 month timer starts at the finale of S1. Genos is referencing Saitama and Genos joining the hero association. Were less than 2 months into the timer though it's not clear how MUCH less.

You know what i've been wondering after saitama went back in time to defeat garou in just one punch and saitama give that old core of dead genos to again living genos, genos saw everything about the fight that saitama and garou had. Why didnt genos just give that core to the professor that gives him parts and all ( i forgot his name sorry) and just plug it into a computer or a big tv screen so that saitama would see it and get his memories about it back

I get that, but genos knows how strong the top hero’s are and he knows how strong saitama is, and because of that he’s his master, he tries to be like him to achieve what he did. I think that is the assumption most readers have at the moment. Metal Knight has already shown a complete disregard for human life and only caring about making the most powerful weapons. Like the asteroid event, he didn't care about saving the city. He just saw it as a great opportunity to test out his new warheads.

Genos *_IS_* the Rampaging Cyborg. Because ehe learned from his time-alternate's Core of the true fight that occured... Genos eventually decided the only way to stop the Rampaging Cyborg is to go back in time, like his Master has done, but further, to stop them _before_ everything was taking from his younger self. Upon arrival he realizes he needs to become Genos of his future's past and becomes the Rampaging Cyborg to make himself into the Genos we now see. I have no knowledge about the actual future of the story but this is where all this leads, if you extrapolate outward.

Cosmic garou never happened in this timeline. Monster garou was too weak, but memorable because of his personality as the hero hunter. Pretty sure the only monster he remembers for strength is Boros.
