If you look at the background behind Saitama after he slaps Mosquito Girl, you can see that the force of his slap split the clouds and ground. The fact he so nonchalantly slapped her as well but it had that that much force behind it is incredible Also, friendly reminder, the episodes all have end credits scenes, or at least the majority do. So far you’ve missed both episode 1’s and 2’s.

Does anybody else appreciate the Genos back story gag? They totally rag on the whole backstory exposition dump in anime in a funny way, but actually utilize the trope really well to get a pretty comprehensive backstory for Genos to us really efficiently.

Mosquito girl's VA is Miyuki Sawashiro, one of my all time favourite VA's. She voiced Ultear, UI and Virgo in Fairy Tail, Kirari momobami in kakegurui, Maria in arakawa under the bridge, Shion Karanomori in Psycho Pass, Suruga Kanbaru in monogatari, Saeko in highschool of the dead. Basically she voiced a bunch of hot characters and her voice is 10/10.

so, as to how the mosquito kept surviving his slaps? Well, it's actually the force he's slapping that's saving it, cause it keeps getting pushed away before the slap connects, since it's so light. The mosquito girl...not light enough to get pushed out of the way.
