A summary of Mashle Magic And Muscles’ plot :
In the Magic realm, everyone is capable of magic and your skill at using magic ( or lack thereof ) determines everything. In a certain forest there is a cream-puff-loving, pump-obsessed, meat head who exists to defy the natural order of things and has been trained by his old man for self-defence in anticipation of facing magic oriented discrimination. However Mash has become far stronger than planned, so much so that it actually reveals his cover! He must then choose between being a fugitive or rebuilding this country by destroying its philosophies through becoming the strongest mage without having any magic. There’s only one way forward and that’s becoming a divine visionary, but he mustn’t reveal himself too soon or he’ll get exterminated before he reaches his goal, that’s where his muscles come in, doing feats insane enough to trick the people around him into thinking he’s a real mage.

Honestly the overpowered protagonist has become really prevalent in manga in the last decade. It’s normal for an author to come up with a unique idea and that to become a fad in manga especially in a fad oriented culture like Japan, but mashle does it right. Not because the power system is real deep, it’s not lol, it’s because the humor in mashle is great and that’s what makes the overpowering protagonist work in media at least in my opinion.

Actually mashes wand is scientifically... or maybe mathematicaly possible. Its just density, with the wand being so massive he can disperse the mass of the wand icreasing it in volume. Its like play dough, but really, really dense.

Honestly I am not convinced Mash isn't just a pure being of magic lmao. He is immune to almost all spells and strength well beyond anything and he has been doing it since he was born.
