No. Drive knight I believe was trying to kill genos after they fused. He detached and left as the core became unstable, if I remember correctly. And I'm sure they collected the date from the battle, and may have known about the danger of fusing, since drive knight is the one who suggested it. Perhaps the hope was dr bofoi figured out what the organization couldn't, regarding the next step in powering the robots/ cyborgs.

I am not sure the 'Organization' wants Genos on their side, after all after the fight where they fused together drive Knight left Genos to just fall with his unstable core to certain doom. Genos was ready to self destruct, but he got saved by others. anyhow, I think what is more likely to be the case is Drive knight wanted to get the data from genos's core. (as we know the core has his memories inside it) It can have quite useful information for the 'Organization'. Might even be about the whereabouts of Dr Kuseno I do agree with the theory that Drive knight is part of said organization

Man the amount of theorizing I can do based on this video's information is staggering: I think the Mad Cyborg is absolutely related to the Organization, perhaps even its leader (or at least, a high ranking member). I agree, it was Amai Mask real character... he settle fights quickly by doing the first and possibly last move to secure victory. It was shown on how he kills weak aliens, tragically experimented monsters, even Garou, and any other monsters. Hot take, I really don't like Murata sacrificing story over fan service... I liked OPM because of how diverse the world building and with its perfectly flawed characters. Amai was supposed to be hated, and I don't think the redeemability had a relevance to the message of his character. In first place those suited private Soldiers shouldn't be in there with their kind of organization, they be do just greedy to the money, accepting offer without an actual plan.
