The movie 'Cube' will never be old because the theme is eternal.

legendary music from an iconic film, so mysterious, so unique. Very few movies have the uniqueness of cube

I hope that those of you who've enjoyed the music I wrote for Cube will consider going to Itunes and paying for a download. It's nice to get your music for free, but it's a good gesture of appreciation to support the people that make the music possible in the first place. Thanks! Mark

the real question is why are you commenting here and on this track of all tracks? a bit odd that the composer shows up on a random upload of his music lol

The minute I found out Mark Korven (who composed Cube) was also doing the soundtrack for Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City, I had to come right back here and listen to 2:15. I know it's a generic sample used back in the late 90s-early 00's called "Burple and Pine" (it's in Cube, Silent Hill: Origins, Haunting Ground, Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter), but that haunting sound for me will always be associated with one thing: Resident Evil 4.

This soundtrack is so cool to listen to high. So elaborate.

so is the movie lol. even tho its horrifying in a way, i find the cold mathematical precision of the cubes and wonderful weirdness strangely calming as fuck lol. i also got sort of an existential metaphor from it. like no one knows wtf is going on, the rules of this "world" are insanely complicated, and its incomprehensibly huge. such a stoner movie lol. too weird not to be

Years ago, I used to listen to this track (and some other random tracks that I liked, very different styles of music) EVERYDAY. Now this doesn't creep me out AT ALL. It's just... so nostalgic... and beautiful ;_;

I think this song does the movie an honor. Trapped in a giant ass cube, composed of other large ass cubes, one way out, lethal ass traps EVERYWHERE, just trying not to lose your sanity, or worse, during the process.

wow, I just read one of the thread "'Red Kazan' - a perfect and brilliant ending!!" from the message board on imdb for this movie. I feel this movie has lot more to give than what I actually saw. All the characters have importance in different ways and are actually their names are names of the prisons(also mentioned on wiki). I can't say more on the thread because it is very big but it is absolute genious of the guy if he(themanwithnolozenge) found it on its own from the movie.

I received and iTunes gift card for mothers day-Will definitely support properly those who entertain me proper (I'm a tough customer) and you are positively IN! Heard your soundtrack for Journalists in Combat and had to wait for the credits to get your name-it led me here. Cube and Hypercube are mathematically genius and so is your music. I just love it when things go full circle. Excellent work Mark. Thank you from the bottom of the hypercube in my head. Haha- A Fan

Not very often one would say it makes complete sense to watch this senseless movie lol. Apart from part of the ending I was completely taken by this movie. You don't get that good performances very often for a movie of this type. Spoiler alert before you read below!!!! I was unhappy for the great genious death at the end. Although it was that bastard who killed her but as per me she totally deserved to go out. I felt sad for her and the doctor.
