Yes I know about weight down the engine stand down! My ys 120 was just about dragging mine around when I gave it full throttle lol! Those big engines have some power and that one sounds really good!

Great run overall and a great sound for sure; doesn't sound too happy spooling up from very low down though.

Got any suggestions for fuel? I haven't run my 4 cycles in a while..... Are you happy with what you are using? Do you mail order it or get it locally?

I have over 2000 videos showing the fuels I use. I do not make suggestions to anyone regarding fuel. Besides fuel sources are different from place to place.

@@davidhill5621yeah, that's the stuff I was using before. For some reason, probably because I wasn't expecting them to still be in business and only did one quick search..... I thought I couldn't get it anymore. I always try to support the local shops where I can, but no one is carrying it anymore. Thanks.

@@dmrcflyr2I have only watched a handful of your 2000 videos. It's a lot to get through. With no real way to navigate through them to find what I was looking for, I guess I thought you might point me in the right direction. Was actually hoping for a link to a video discussion on what makes a good fuel vs a bad one. Info I could use in my research on what I need to keep in mind when choosing the right fuel for my application. I've built an autonomous aircraft to patrol the Oregon I-6 corridor between Washington and California to support Ambert Alerts. With a mission time of over 10 hours, not only will I be burning a lot of fuel, but the difference between high quality fuel and low quality fuel could make a huge difference. And when little kids lived are on the line, good unbiased advice is really hard to come by. You seemed like a good person to ask. But I think I understand where you are coming from and I respect your position on the matter. I'll keep watching your videos. I've got 45 years in the hobby..... Didnt do a lot of gas/nitro stuff but what I did do I'm kind of nostalgic for. So your channel is a good take a break and watch, or listen to a video when I've got 5 minutes to do so. Thanks.

@@christopherleveck6835 Chris, I believe that you might be over thinking the fuel thing with regards to glow engines. Any commercially available fuel is ‘good’ to use. The only variables are type of oil, Synthetic vs Castor, nitro content 0% (FAI) to 20%, and oil percentage. I have never done a video of ‘good’ fuel versus ‘bad’ fuel for the reason I just mentioned above. With 45 years in the hobby, YOU should be the one telling ME this information. Define ‘high quality’ glow fuel please? How do you know what high quality glow fuel is? The prices are so high for ALL glow fuel now you certainly cannot use price as a deciding factor in quality. Have you ever destroyed an engine because of the fuel you ran in it? I have not. I prefer to run low to no nitro fuel in my engines but have experimented and made videos using a wide variety of fuel. Why do I prefer low to no nitro fuel? Several reasons, cost, and ease of mixing should you not have commercial fuel available. There is NO reason in my opinion to run nitro over 10% in any engine. The more nitro you run in your fuel the wider the tuning range is and the more potential damage to can do to the engine. High nitro fuel is like putting training wheels back on your bike. You don’t learn to REALLY tune an engine with high nitro. There are SO many discussions(opinions) about fuel on RC forums and that is another reason I will never do a video strictly talking about the pros and cons of one fuel over another. I also simply do not have the experience to do that any way. If you are looking for a scientific study of one fuel type over another, this is not the channel you will ever find it on.
