That was mind blowing. I took one of my old works with similar composition as the original and took each step shown and applied it there. My end result is impressive, and I urge other design students to try it out. Very thankful that sensei uploads here. You don't know how much it helps. Thank you.
I get it, it's the overall composition and the angle of the character that makes the background feels more open, like there's a sense of direction, using a diagonal angle to express the openness of the background.

Amazing explanation, thank you for taking the time to correct and detail why step by step every time, and the subtitles are very helpful. I like how you also try to keep the artist's style in your corrections. I think the hair texture that the artist was going for is similar to Kristoph Gavin from Ace Attorney, after his "breakdown", or Mujika from The Promised Neverland. I wonder how you would draw it.
