He used any and all advantages available to him, even getting help from people he hates to get his way. When fighting Cell, he couldn’t even comprehend a reality where Cell wins. He was so far ahead of Mid Cell that he didn’t feel like Cell could be a threat anymore. He’d likely body Frieza fast like he did Guldo, Dodoria, Cui and Zarbon. This was living under the thumb Vegeta, not “my pride” Vegeta.

Awesome video! One of the main details of why Vegeta would win is simply the ruthless nature, the millisecond he gets SSJ he is tearing Frieza to shreds. Even if Frieza does power up, by the time he does, what Vegeta does to him until then will cripple him more likely than not to where he’s not doing anything to him

My fan theory regarding Vegeta potentially going super saiyan on Namek is that he could have done it if he hadn't been woken up early by Freeza approaching. The similarities between Goku and Vegeta gaining power throughout the Freeza saga was rather similiar, until they both get their final huge near-death power up, presumably going into the millions. But Goku got angry and transformed yet Vegeta got angry with Freeza and didn't. After Goku finished his 100 G training he slept and after a good amount of sleep he said he had that strange tranquil feeling. But Vegeta felt tired, slept a bit but got woken up early by Freeza's arrival. I think that it was this lack of sleep - and the tranquil feeling that accompanied it - is what prevented Vegeta becoming a SSJ at that point. Maybe it was the contrast between the tranquility and the sudden huge amount of rage that allowed the transformation.

I think the 50x boost from Super Saiyan is always going to be a reserve of 50x peak base form's energy. Not just a multiplier of the remaining energy in base. If it was a multiplier to remaining energy, then it wouldn't make sense for them to be testing their opponent in base form, and using their base form power.

Tbh, I think after that brutal training (training in 450x gravity), I think Vegeta could’ve done the job in base form, going by the earliest point he achieved SS. It would be a close fight, but can be done.

I'd say that the initial super saiyan transformation when its triggered through rage adds a rage boost to the base saiyan's form so if goku was fresh his new base power level would be 9 million and then the super saiyan boost of 50x would make fresh super saiyan goku a 450 million power level

Really good point on how Goku was drained/near death before he transformed into a SS. Even a 50x from his current low/near death power level would be no where near first form Frieza. It was a narrative transformation not just raw numbers. That or the SS transformation could be a lot higher than 50x

Nah my opinion is that goku was over 4 million when he startes battling Frieza and when damaged/drained of energies he drops to 3 millions so when he went super saiyan he was 150 mil. Frieza at 100% was probably around 190 millions but when he was damaged by the spirit bomb he also lost power as he mentions in the manga, so he dropped to 150 millions too up till the beam clash where Goku and Frieza appeared completely equal when ssj goku uses super kamehameha and 100% Frieza uses Nova Strike. Then Frieza's power starts dropping so he goes to 120 millions and continues dropping every seconds until he is eventually no match for ssj Goku anymore. Vegeta's powerlevel was probably 2.5 millions at best so he would have been demolished by 100% Frieza even as a super saiyan.

Another multiplier they would have had, which probably is what also makes me agree with your standpoint that Goku must have had a higher multiplier than 50x, is the Saiyan Anger multiplier. We see this in the Frieza, Cell, and Broly sagas/movies. In the Cell Saga, what made Gohan so powerful was not only just his 100x multiplier, but he was so angry. Broly, in the movie DBS: Broly, was able to catch up to SSJG in power just through increasing his anger throughout the battle.

Here's something nobody ever talks about with this subject. Two facts. One stated by Goku (In the manga, I forget if he said it in the anime.) And one stated by King Kai. When Goku turns off the 100x gravity, he states "I could probably do 10x Kaioken easily!" This is backed up by Goku seeming to have a base power of 25,000 after Ginyu takes his body, and doesn't know how to access Goku's power. The second is when King Kai responds to the suggestion that Goku can still use the Kaioken by saying "He's been using the Kaioken this whole time!" It's conceivable that Goku has a base power less than a million at this point in the story, making him on parr with Vegeta. There's a lot of factors that make me think that may not be the case, but fighting power is never defined again after the one million number...ever. So we don't actually know Goku's fighting power at this point.

I remember I used a cheat code and had the vegeta card so he could come and help me when I fought raditz. The game soft locked cuz of course he killed him fast but he would not stop attacking. I guess the game was like “wait this ain’t right! Why are you here?”

I've heard that Vegeta's power level was more so 2,500,000 after Dende. And when it comes to the Daizenshuu, it's a Toriyama guidebook. So it's canon that it's 50 times for SS. Because there isn't really anything in the anime that actually contradicts it statement wise. So even if you don't believe it, it's true, and Vegeta would have been higher than Frieza if we go by the multiplier and Vegeta being 2,500,000. He would have been 125,000,000. So power level wise, it would have been more than enough if Vegeta went SS. Plus, the idea of them being weak after the fight, if you factor in Super, doesn't mean much, because it doesn't seem to take long for them to recover. Transformations when fully activated for the first time, can possibly recover them back to full, for a bit at least. After all, it's not like Goku and Vegeta and Frieza during those fights were anywhere near as beaten down as Vegeta was against the Z fighters on Earth. He and Goku both had their bodies literally totally destroyed to where they either needed Senzu's or hospital treatments to even more right, considering their bones and everything was turned to almost dust. So it's not like Goku was THAT badly messed up in comparison to when he first started the fight. It's not hard to call SS a full 50 times multiplier, and to assume that Goku would have been still relatively close enough in base that he could, with a little breather, get back to 3 million during the time he spent just transforming. To assume Goku was that badly beaten goes against what we saw when he fought Vegeta the first time, as well as how he only needed help from Piccolo to stand up at first, but he was fine to stand on his own just moments after. He was just out breathe, but not beaten to the point that he would be the way you described him here, and neither was Frieza. On Earth, Vegeta was so beaten down, that he could only muster the energy to crawl to his space pod, but would have died if he didn't hook himself up to that space pod life support. Goku and Frieza were nowhere close to needing that. But Vegeta would only win like this, if you believe in Vegeta's power level being 2,500,000. Which I've heard more often than 2,000,000. But if it's 2,000,000, he would probably lose. Because either 2,000,000 or 2,500,000, it only took a 500,000 to 1,000,000 difference between him and Frieza to be decimated. But he'd win if it was he was 2,500,000 and went SS, since well, it's again, a 500,000 difference, and that would be all it takes to completely decimate Frieza. Maybe not the same way Goku could do, considering once Goku got used to SS, he completely decimated Frieza and more. But it'd be more than enough.

IMHO supersaiyan energy levels I feel depend on how strong the body of the Saiyan is at the time of transformation, hence why Goten and Trunks are able to turn into super Saiyan, like, if the body of the kids reach their upper limit and transform at let's say age 10, then they only train to keep their current strength they won't be able to transform when they grow up, that's why Gohan became weaker, Super Saiyan is more a special power multiplier than power by itself and that's why we never if ever saw supersaiyan being used along kaio-ken

Just want to point out, that if Toriyama was thinking of super Saiyan as being a 10x of what Goku’s MAX was at the time, then that would be based off Goku’s 20x Kaioken, which means Toriyama would be thinking of super saiyan in his head as being closer to a 200x from Goku’s base form, which would have been even more crazy but honestly felt pretty accurate in the story if we think of Freeza as being the end-all power level that is basically limitless.

It might be a moot argument since Vegeta probably wouldn't be able to go Super Saiyan at all except after reaching a higher base power level equal to Goku's. Like when he actually did go Super Saiyan, it was after training harder than Goku, experiencing near death a few times, and going all out against the asteroid. It's possible that becoming Super Saiyan required Vegeta to go through all that and reach at least 3,000,000 base power. But assuming not, and assuming Super Saiyan boosts power level more than 50, it would still have to multiply it by at least 480 just to be even with Frieza's top form at 100%. That would mean exhausted Goku would have been 312,500 when he went Super Saiyan, and honestly, Goku was probably at 1,000 or less. And if you use that multiple on Vegeta, it would put him in the billions, which would be absurd. I think the only way this Vegeta > Frieza thing works is if Super Saiyan 1 simply pushes the Saiyan up to a certain power scale regardless of base power. So in this theory, Vegeta still wasn't stronger than Goku when he eventually did go Super Saiyan, despite his base power level being higher than Goku's was. So if it does work this way, then maybe Super Saiyan 1 would push Vegeta from 250,000 to 150M, just as it seemed to still only push him to 150M (or a little more) from a base of perhaps 4M. Also, your point about Vegeta becoming more powerful through rage does not apply, in my opinion. I think this is because Super Saiyan requires a different emotional trigger depending on the Saiyan in question. It was rage for Goku because he had a kind heart most of his life. Going against his nature is what set off the transformation. For Vegeta, he only triggered the transformation when he gave up trying to become one. Vegeta's nature was his pride, and it was only when he let go of that pride and embraced humility that it triggered his transformation. So Frieza triggering more rage in Vegeta wouldn't help Vegeta. It would likely just cause him to lose power and make mistakes, similar to what happened against Android 18.

If we’re using the fact that Goku wasn’t fresh after the Spirit Bomb as a factor for Vegeta winning you have to do the same with Frieza. While he wasn’t in as bad a shape as Goku, he was still noticeably injured. His tail got blasted off, his body was all scarred and bruised and he couldn’t even open one of his eyes. So the 100% Frieza that we saw wasn’t fresh or necessarily at full strength either. His actual full power could have been like 130-140 million

Setting aside the whole power scaling and everything. The main reason I feel Vegeta would kill Frieza is because, like you said, Vegeta wanted him dead and in the ground. Unlike with the androids, where he only fucked around because he wanted to prove his superiority over them. Vegeta was not looking to play around with Frieza. After what he had been put through, both in the past and during his time on Namek. He had only the murder of his former tyrant on his mind.

I agree that even if we go by the guides for power levels and Super Saiyan multipliers Vegeta would eventually win. Frieza at 100 percent drains too much stamina, and Vegeta is a much more skilled fighter so unless Frieza uses energy disks immediately after powering up fully Vegeta wins through war of attrition.

Vegeta's super saiyan form has always been a little more powerful than Goku's. If the two were at any point given equal base levels and skills, Vegeta will come out ahead assuming they stick to the same forms. Happened with Majin Vegeta, who had a clear advantage at SSJ1 and 2. Happened again in Super Hero, ending in a win for Vegeta.

I dont think i quite agree. Your reasoning for Freeza's full power being over 100 million at "100%" is flawed. 1. If his second form is as you stated at least 1million, that isnt 1% of his power, there's a whole other form before that. Now granted that form could be sub 1%, we cant be sure but equally we cant be sure how much of believed power he's accessing in various forms at various points as he gives no hint. And further to that if youre gonna go with the spirit of the series (which i prefer myself) then percentages are every bit as meaningless as numbers, especially in hindsight.

I think that even if Vegeta was only around 100 million vs Frieza's 120 million, he would win. Vegeta has way more fighting experience, and besides that Frieza couldn't keep up 100% for very long, he got too tired to keep fighting. Vegeta with Super Saiyan would have way more endurance

Yeah Goku was half dead when he transformed. But Frieza was also weakened by constant battle and the spirit bomb. I think the multipliers make sense, but the numbers from SSJ Goku and 100% Frieza only show them at their full power. When both transformed, Goku was weaker then Frieza, but not by much. And Frieza could not keep the forms power for long and became weaker then Goku.

That's what I figured too. First form at 530,000. Second form at 1,060,000. Third form at 2,120,000. And the fourth form's BASE power at 4,240,000 meaning that at 100% (which I calculated as a roughly 50x multiplier like Super Saiyan) his true MAX power is over 200 million when not damaged. So he lost 80+million power after nearly dying to the spirit bomb. If Goku got severely weakened after fighting Frieza and using the spirit bomb with perhaps a power level of one million maximum, then why shouldn't have Frieza been weakened after nearly dying from the spirit bomb?

I don't think it's correct this, I do agree vegeta could win due to frieza stamina lost and primarily not fighting much but Goku going ssj is that I think he was low on energy, not chi. Like he was low in energy so he is unable to raise is ki to his 3m power lvl although the ssj transformation and rage threw his energy into overdrive :>

I like the video but I believe you're overthinking the scenario. If we're going by established rules and SSJ is a 50× multiplier (which I believe is accurate) and Vegeta had a base power level of 2 million that puts him at a total of 100 million. Frieza at 50% was 60 million. Vegeta hates Frieza more than anything at this point in the series and he is way more brutal than Goku when fighting. He would never allow Frieza to reach 100% and he would kill Frieza with brutality.

I think you're disregarding the fact that Frieza is much smarter than Vegeta, I could easily see Vegetas pride and arrogance getting him cooked against Frieza even if the had a very slight power advantage, Goku was able to walk down Frieza because he fought smarter and played on Friezas ego and made him tired towards the end of the fight, when Frieza initially reaches 100% he appears to be slightly stronger than Goku, but rapidly loses power throwing power punches and missing shots.

The one thing I disagree with is that Vegeta wouldnt let Frieza power up to his 100% form. He has shown to have a habit of letting his foes get to their strongest form like Cell. He has even more bad history with Frieza. He would want to crush Friezas spirit entirely. He would think nothing can beat him after achieving Super Saiyan, the form he dreamed of for so long.

feels like alot of yap, At the end of the day every anime has inconsistencies that do not match up with the story. Goku should not be losing to 1% frieza at kaioken x20 when hes stronger than base vegeta, regardless he still does. End of the day, The guides give us 50x, akira doesnt discredit it and therefore the headcanon you give off means nothing. Ontop of the fact that you thinking frieza taking damage does not correlate to him losing power which is untrue, weve already seen it with EVERY character so theres no reason to think it doesnt apply to him aswell.

Vegeta power level was 2.000.000. If he went SSJ he would be 100.000.000. While Freezer 100% is 120.000.000. He can win only if he doesn't let him power up to 100%. Maybe if he goes SSJ and attacks freezer while he is at 50% 60.000.000 and seriosly injure him, that should be an easy win. When Goku went SSJ he was absolutely burned out, the rage made him come back. BUT he knew that it was his first time and he controlled his power to around 120.000.000 as Master Roshi said, "Goku is not used to that kind of power, Freezer will start to use 100% and Goku will have to use all his power". Goku hold back his power level when in SSJ, because he knew it was his first time SSJ and he was already burned out.

Well you can't forget that ssj gives a power boost so it will be much higher than 100m, and even if vegeta was losing he'll get super mad like he did against cell and beerus, so we can say that with the powerboost and him being mad, it should be enough for frieza.

Um... blud consider the math goku 3,000,000 x 50 equals 150,000,000 so if goku was weaker then he wouldn't have defeated freiza based on pure power same for vegeta
