Elsa's Ice Palace and Rapunzel's Tower I think are a bit slept on for aggro. Getting an extra 3 will power with tower or locking one of their exerted characters until they take out Ice Palace gives you a turn or 2 extra questing with your characters.

This 100% yes it slows your aggro down slightly but example turn 3 daisy on board & tower. Move Daisy in for 1 which makes her a 1/7 then either drop 2 more 1 drops like Pinocchio and Maleficent which become 1/4s that you could put in next turn or put down another one drop and move it in immediately and have two cards early on that can’t be removed that early which give you good questing and it will make them have to choose the location over your 1 drops.

I think for worlds greatest criminal mind there are important targets in tamatoa, clarabelle, and Sisu. It provides an inkable card in a deck archetype that typically runs close to 17+ uninkables to run the steel songs, so I think the utility plus inkable status is reason enough to run 2 copies or at least tech for 1.

I fear Set 5 and this all-out push for aggro has accelerated the game too much. The Steel Songs Aggro build seems specially powerful as it's the best of both worlds. Midrange decks are probably gone. Only gimmick ramp decks will be left, and even those will be on thin ice, depending on drawing a GYS or Be Prep.

Quantum. I think you should try Hypnotic Strength in a few decks. I think the card has a decent amount of potential. Play like Follower on one, Strength on 2 to kill off a Daisy Duck. I’ve decided to throw in 1 drop 2/2 Li Shang so I can play it turn 1 against aggro and drop the strength to take out the daisy and still have that character on board.

Question, my ots says game 1 is 3 points game 2 is 3+1...or is it only +1 if you went second and won? Please confirm, basically by my ots the steel song player would be at 3 and the amethyst player would be at 4

Steel song has cut at 5 for a while. Big cindy has been a liability for a long time and not efficient. Naveen has been a 2 of, you haven't really ran into the emerald decks yet. Ursula beats up your song hands and naveen becomes a liability. I have my own version and have cut robin from the list for slots, storm is only as good if you ran small cindy with ursula. I am up to 16 without naveens and 18 with naveens. 18 is already a lot and your hands in mulligans are terrible. So I opted to cut him out completely for my own tech at this time. It has been decent to deal with daisy and other decks. If I do run naveen again, he is not a 3 of. he is terrible in the emerald MU in which I hope you playtest more against and realize how much of a 4 uninkable liability is. But he is still there if they brawl your ariel and you want to sing AWNW that turn anyways, but it mucks up your ink tempo. He has his pros and cons.

22:06 would also make sense to sing Zeus with Vanessa and play queen and smee since you couldn’t win the next turn and that adds one more body to the board. You regain the lost lore the following turn as a result

you completely overlook the fact that worlds greatest criminal kills pretty much anyone with queen. Thats why its even in the deck.

@@QuantumMercury true, I might try it and see if it pays off. I like to have that added ability of rush with something later game sometimes with goat or something but I feel you on the Aggro thing. I did sleeve up a very similar yellow purple deck I’m excited to see how it plays. Too many times I wish a snake had rush in late game

In game 1 why wouldn't you play Prince Naaven sing whole new world in case you draw grab so then you can sing grab and clear board instead of singing strength

Those are good points, Emerald can be a really rough match, esp. Amber Emerald with both Deciever and Bare.
