I caught onto Sajjad Ali when I was little and heard Teri Yaad Satave and upon discovery knew that he is talented. His voice was like an gentleman singing heartfelt pain. Having rediscovered him. Everytime I listen to Sajjad’s music, it makes me cry as I miss my ex, his voice calms me down when I miss her. Sajjad has a very strong heart to sing the lyrics he choses. Songs like Teri Yaad Satave, Na Tum Samjhe, Tasveer Bana Ke, Nakhun and Dil Lagaya. These being some of his songs are heart rendering, hit deep and really touch the heart. His style of his solo vocals, with just a few instruments are unique. Each video itself is a masterpiece. In fact, the vision in each video is so different that he guy brings unmatched talent and energy. Indipop did come, but this man maintained it and enhanced it, and even today we see such content. He truly is a pioneer for that and every time he sings, he is a like a man with a comforting voice of a maestro, ailing those heartbroken souls. I really hope that one day I get to meet this talented soul, as this man has unmatched talent and it would be an honor and I must commend him, that he has kept his music clean for 5 decades! That’s huge and the fact that his name is alone sufficient to dazzle people, is recognition he truly deserves.
