No doubt it’s beautiful, but that’s just it. Plot plays a major role in the success of a show and the plot of the show is pretty weak, predictable and basic. On top of that, many great actors weren’t given more screen time just to give the Nepo actress all of it. Hence the criticism.

Some of these KZbin reviewers are biased & motivated. Not everyone bears the same opinion. Many of us liked it very much. Its trending no 1 on Netflix in India & is on top in many other countries and it received 7/10 on IMDb. It could be perceived as slow & predictable but overall its a very good series!❤

@@Wasabijo593 Well it might've imperfections, but one of the most important aspects is that it deals with the often ignored topic of Tawaif's contribution in the India's freedom struggle which people are very unaware about. This series would change that ignorance hopefully!
