For serious, tho: I've met people who'll do _nothing_ but complain and talk ill of others behind their back. It's like they just release _all_ the negativity they've bottled up because they can't be honest about their feelings to the person who bothers them and expects you to listen to all of it and then keep it to yourself out of courtesy. And then you get the distinct feeling they'd say the same sort of things about you the moment you're not in earshot. This is the type of person, I believe, that is referred to as an "emotional vampire", and that term makes total sense to me because interacting with them really does leave you feeling drained and depressed, even if they appear to act friendly towards you. Like, they are _intensely_ negative, but only when they think they can get away with it. It's good to know that there are genuinely nice people who won't judge others even when those people aren't listening, and instead try to be positive and make others feel good about themselves.

As someone that a couple weeks back expressed how much I didn't like Laplus cos of how oppressive (I feel that's the wrong word lmao) her character came off as, I gotta say Chloe's leaking info about her + her being able to collab with non-Genmates has really improved her for me. I guess at the end of the day I thought she was laying on the shitty-brat attitude too hard, so seeing that there's way more to her than that really saved her and her character for me.
