Usually, I have Fauna's streams as background noise while I work. While I enjoy her content, sometimes I miss stuff or can't watch it in its entirety again, so I appreciate the highlights and edits.

Constant deaths and breeding are a known problem in Planet Zoo and have been there for a while. It's also a difficult thing to solve because you can't make them live for too long or else they fill their exhibits, but you can't make them breed less frequently either because that deprives you of a source of income. Zoo Tycoon 2 had way longer age span, allowing you to properly get attached to the critters (or get really frustrated because ZT2 AI is infamously bad and you had animals starve with twenty food dishes in their exhibit) but it had the breeding problem even without incest being possible there (i.e. if you had only a single male and female, their children would never mate until you get animals unrelated to their family). Trying to keep peafowls was an absolute nightmare if you weren't constantly getting rid of them, which didn't even give you money.

Oh yeah animals in ZT2 are basically immortal. The peacocks also shit a lot, they and the dodos are the only ones who keep complaining about dirty exhibits.

I freaking love talking about the "technical issues" some games have. Zoo Tycoon patch notes remind me of Sim patch notes like the infamous "Can No Longer Become Enemies with Child" ❤ Except in Zoo Tycoon, breeding and inbreeding are some of the most visible issues which somehow hasn't yet been an issue in the Sims yet BUT I BET THEY'RE WORKING ON IT! ❤😂

The pangolin crimes continue. She gets away with it because she melted our hearts with the foxes and wolves. She flat-out made the artic section of her Zoo look incredible in such a small amount of time. I was just trying to get some sleep before my opening shift at my job at 4am, and after a while of being asleep I had a long suspenseful dream, it was completely fine at first. I was in a bed room in my grandparents house just chillin, at midnight like when I actually went to sleep, drinking hot coco or something and watching a vanoss video (of him & Loui playing fnaf games, but it was a new one) and weird suspicious stuff just kept happening, like the window would just keep opening and I was given a lego alligator from nobody, a theme that never really went away is if I ever tried to leave the room I'd see weird creepy as hell shadow figures that seemed more then just shadow, like the one I remember most is I needed more of something and poked my head out of the door looked in the direction of the other bed rooms and saw a shadow of a "person" holding a baby and said (I can wait till tomorrow) and my cat was there for some reason (even tho he lives in a different state from that house) and finally the way it ended, I was up by the door and it just fuckin opened, obviously by this point I closed that shit immediately, it almost felt as if i was under water (slow) tried locking it but regardless if I actually looked it right it just opened again, and I saw a scary shadow face on the wall, and 2 big fucked up Creatures that looked like they where made in blender by Chris Oneyplays, they where taller then the door, and there was a third smaller one (must have been the shadow baby I saw earlier) and they all looked like they where closing in to get me, as if they've been watching me this whole time, messing with me a bit, and finally had enough of me, I felt so much dread I was petrified with fear, they were just fuckin looking at me, and my cat at this point was either some how not there or was just not there some how, I felt like any second there where gonna pounce, I've regained thought and finally told myself "Dude it's a dream, WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!" and I opened my eyes, woke up in a cold swet, felt like I just dodged a huge bullet, like they where gonna get me if I stayed another second or 2, and after I got out of it I needed to do something to snap myself out of the lingering fear, so I put on a Fauna video, although I was remembering the dream to comment about it, just having a Fauna vid on made it so much better, Fauna's voice is so cute and also really soothing to the ear, like actually therapeutic.
