If you ask local penangites which is the best nasi kandar in Penang, you will definitely get more than a dozen (or more) answers. So, there isn't really a number one because everyone has different preference in taste, hence everyone has their number 1 nasi kandar. Most nasi kandar in Penang have their own loyal customers and supporters especially the ones that have been in business for generations. Out of 7 from your list, 5 wouldn't make it into my top 20 nasi kandaq list.

I recommend try nasi ganja (weed rice. No weed in it but it is said that the rice as addictive as weed) in Ipoh, Perak. I can't guarantee you'll like it since I myself, the nasi ganja doesn't suit my taste.

@@lifelessgal00 you're not alone. Nasi ganja is also not for me, it's like a watered down version of penang nasi kandar. But I still would recommend it to people as different people have different taste. So others might like it even if it's not my cup of tea.

Sulaiman harga nasi kandaq standard. Kalau banding dgn hameediyah, deens maju, kayu, pelita atau jamal mohamed, memang Sulaiman murah. Tapi kalau banding sulaiman dgn nasi kandaq yg tak viral/bukan tumpuan pelancong mcm Ali ameir, Shah Maju, merican kembali, Ceri, pokok ketapang, Kassim, Ali Mamak dll, harga lebih kurang sama ja.
