I like this video, it's better than a few videos because most of the verbs used are in Kanji form, like 食べます instead of たべます because although Kanji is hard, it's necessary to learn, otherwise the text that's written with Hiragana only is simple and childish, and can cause confusion due to hononyms and は(ha) being pronounced as "wa" in particle form. Learning Kanji is just as important as learning uppercase letters.

The reason I used Masu form was that almost all textbooks teach Masu form first. Also in most Japanese language schools in Japan, we teach polite form first. Hello Saki せんせい. I have been learning Japanese for 4 months. And I have noticed that one of the most difficult things for me in Japanese is learning new vocabulary. Because I don't know the correct order of learning. I don't know if it's better to learn the new vocabulary in hiragana or hiragana with Kanji (I haven't seen kanji yet). In the end, I feel that it takes me a long time to learn a small amount of vocabulary. Thanks for the video, greetings from Costa Rica.
@etanol.
@etanol. Жыл бұрын
there is no thing such as a definite correct order to learn, you should choose whatever you think is best for you. i am not the sensei, but i would recommend you to learn vocabulary both in hiragana and kanji. as time passes you will recognize many different kanjis if you start learning them now instead of waiting. also, do not focus too much on learning word by word, and practice handwriting just until you feel comfortable with it. if you have time, i advise you to lookup for 'comprehensible input' on youtube, there's also Matt vs Japan's channel in which he describes how he used this method (comprehensible input) to learn japanese, and also checkup Benjamin Keep's video covering free recall (I strongly recommend his channel for anyone who wants to learn anything).
