I got S23 ultra still runs fast and perfectly well, no complaints at all! Not worth upgrading. This is very lazy from Samsung, I agree! Will still be able to use shutter with S-pen Bluetooth, also gestures and motions when using a tripod etc., disappointed their getting rid of that!

I have the 23 Ultra and was considering upgrading to the 25. However, losing the S-pen remote features is the deciding point for me. All of the performance upgrades are not worth losing that minor feature. Looks like I'll be upgrading to the 24 and staying with that one until Samsung brings back the S-pen features.

I agree 100%. I used to make fun of Apple fan boys for buying the same phone year after year (Thinking is was an upgrade when it really wasn't). I refuse to be "that guy". I will upgrade from S23U to S24U only at a discount. I will not pay premium price while losing features. Seems like Samsung is trying to mimic Apple not realizing that their loyal customers do not want that at all. So disappointed. I waited all this time for a meaningful upgrade yet to be bamboozled again.

What iratates me alot is samsung seems to intentionally hold out on the software updates so that they kinda force consumers to buy the new model phone in order to get the newest software.other phone companies do an excellent job at pushing out the software update regardless of the sales numbers on their newest model phones.and last but certainly not least the fact that samsung takes away features from the new ultra models and still charges as much as they do.i truly feel other Chinese phone companies offer alot better deal to their phones than samsung could ever offer.i bought a cheap Chinese phone and got the charger and cable,a case 4 the phone and wireless earbuds in the case.samsung has taken everything out thier cellphone packages and still charge twice as much as other phone companies.dont get me wrong I love my galaxy s24ultra and I have always owned samsung phones as my main phone but it seems as if samsung continues to take away everything but want you to continue to charge you as much as most of the phones out there.its truly a shame.

I would buy ultra only for cameras (especially telephoto) but for me square corners are... deal breaker :D This phone is just too big and having sharp corners makes it even more difficult to put it in the pocket. I'm Samsung fan for many years but actually iPhone approach is IMHO way better. They put exactly the same hardware into Pro and Pro MAX which is not the case in S25+ and S25 Ultra. If you want better set of cameras you HAVE to buy Ultra which sucks because it's huge brick. I'll wait for S26 Ultra (maybe corners will be more round) or S25 slim ;)

I know I'm probably one of very few who actually use the S-pen and many of it's features, but the fact that the S25 ultra did away with the Air gestures is a Big put off for me. I use my S24 Ultra's s-pen and most of it's features in what I do in my daily dealings. So that and the fact my 24 ultra still is very quick off the mark. I'll be sticking with my S24 Ultra.

Well I'm going to insert my foot deep in my mouth. I couldn't take it I went ahead and ordered it estimated delivery date is February 7th I got the titanium black and a screen protector and a cheap case. I'm pretty sure the UFS storage and RAM have been improved on the 25 Ultra verses 24 Ultra which means that it's still 12 gig of RAM but it's a faster 12 gig of RAM then the 24 I think

The processor of the S24 Ultra is more than fast enough. Hes acting like the phone stutters and lags, suggesting you should upgrade to the S25 Ultra. That's simply not true. A 30% increase in GPU and CPU performance won't be noticeable for everyday use and the casual user. A slightly better anti-reflective screen isn't enough to warrant paying for a new phone. A flatter frame isn't enough to justify buying a new one. A phone with curved edges instead of boxy edges isn't enough to warrant an upgrade either. More than likely, the features and software updates will be added to the S24 Ultra at a later date. Again, it's not worth upgrading to the S25 Ultra. At this point, Samsung and Apple are very lazy when it comes to releasing new devices-meanwhile, their competitors are innovating and making better phones.

I think the S25u is a fantastic phone. If I had to buy a new phone, I wouldn't doubt and buy an S25u. But me personally I see no reason to upgrade from s24u to s25u. I also spent money enough on that one 😅 Of course s25u will be better but what are we going to do in 2026? Buy the S26u and get rid of s25u? @@HenPapirman s24 ultra. If u perfer sharp corners. If you like curved corners then go for s25 ultra. In the S25 ultra Samsung has taken out BT features from the S pen.

That Bluetooth s pen is a deal breaker. That's the main reason I want another Galaxy Ultra. Reviewers act as if the phone being slightly faster is going to make a difference, or slightly longer battery life in a world where we're always near a charger, is enough to lose a major feature such as a bluetooth s pen. I'll buy one of the S 24 Ultras that one of you traded in for $500 or so.

I still have my s23 and will not upgrade. It's a waste of money. Samsung and Apple should come out with a new phone every 2 to 3 years.

To be honest the S pen is a bumper and I think S24 is kind a on par with S25. Small bumps in speed are unnoticeable and in this day and age you really have a great machine at your disposal. I am keeping S24 which i bought 3 months ago.

I'm just happy it weighs less without any real downgrades. Less weight means it's less likely to drop and will more likely to survive drops. I think I can text over the lack of Bluetooth in the s-pen

Great video but nothing you said is ever gonna convince me to upgrade from my S24 ultra. Like others, I think this new phone is a huge disappointment. What was Samsung thinking? 😢

Like iphone (and most other phones), there is almost no reason to upgrade from last year's model to the new model. The changes just aren't that significant. But if you're coming from an older phone, it may be worth it.

Not happy about the S-Pen, but Samsung offered me $450 for my cracked screen S23U. And with all the promotions and discounts, the total price minus the $450 trade-in was $451. That's for the 512GB version with a 2-year Samsung Care Plan. How can I say no to that!!

@@RohanKhadgi That's with the trade-in of the cracked S23U. Without the trade-in, it would be $902 but that's with tax and Care Plus included. I had the pre-order credits plus all these other promotions just showed up. Try it yourself and see what it shows.

Staying with S24U. I upgraded from S22U for the better camera options, but the S25U just has the UW changed. I will wait until S26 or later.

The upgraded processor, improved heat management, and slightly better design IMO are still not enough reasons to upgrade. I'm getting sick of AI features as a whole. I don't use them and couldn't care less about them. Not to mention they said Gemini is only free for 6 months. Then they downgrade the S Pen. I might have bought my last Samsung device last year. The Pixel is looking better all the time. Google actually improved their devices unlike Samsung.

I feel like this video is biased to upgrade to the s25 Ultra as I'm sure it benefits him if you click those links. But, yeah definitely not worth upgrading for barely any difference from the 24 Ultra no matter how he spins it.

I have had the S24 Ultra since it was released in the USA, and it looks much better than the S25 series. The S25 series looks bulky, and the camera style is not appealing. I have been running the one ui 7 beta since December 5, 2024 and i am waiting for the one ui 7 stable version to come out sometime in February 2025!!

At least for my s23 ultra with a magsafe case, S pen works fine as long as you DON'T have anything magnetically connected.

Definitely no FOMO here! Honestly, this move by Samsung reminds me of the incremental upgrade from the Galaxy S4 to the Galaxy S5. I didn't feel the need to upgrade then, and that's how I feel with my Galaxy S24 Ultra now. Once I get One UI 7, I'll be content.

I don't care about rounded edges vs sharp. I am interested in the weight and bulk of the phones. My s24 Ultra is a monster of a phone, and I love it, but wish it was lighter like the Note 10 plus I upgraded from. Will there be an s25 slim?

@sakitech I *won't* be spending that hard-earned money for the #S25Ultra when the reason I use it is with the S-Pen and its Bluetooth functionality and features. It's the same phone again with a processor that you can't really see any difference from the older models. I'm already bored with all the A.I. hype.

You went through this whole thing and recommended buying the S24U 2.0? There is no reason to upgrade from a S24U, and only a little bit of a reason to upgrade from a S23U. This is the most disappointing rollout ever.
