Gonna be that way until we get away from current tech limitations. Silicone based electronics are reaching their peak. Transistors are basically the size of atoms and as small as we can get them. So unless we just add more chips and more AI and communications between them, won't be a lot of improvements. Other stuff like cameras are mixed on if people care. Everything else is software based and mostly just need improvements on the software

you don't need to make phone thinner anymore. everyone end up using cases anyways which makes them thicker any ways. 1mm decrease doesn't really make any difference due to the camera bump anyways. it is just to say they are thinner on paper. instead give us more battery!

I bought my S22 ultra because of the cameras, the 108 million pixel pics are not sharp (blurry edges) which was disappointing (would that be because it has an Exynos processor) and the 12 million although good quality are not big enough to print poster size .. so I will update to the S25 Ultra because of it's cameras.

Must say that the improvements seem minimal and since the Snapdragon Elite chip is available to other manufacturers, their phones will be equally fast offering faster charging and more competitive pricing. I still use my note 20 ultra and i also bought my mom the note 20. At the same time. Both came with the same amount of cameras but lesser power on hers,obviously. I see how they are removing cams on the 25. Just like the iphone does when you go lower tier. Idk if ill upgrade yet because no SD card! I have an 500g SD card and record 4k-8k and transfer over to my SD(phones 128g). Do you also get to customize the text message background like insert your own pics etc. On the newer models?

Where all the hardware upgrades, camera fixing slow shutter lag, real life photo colour improvement, less over sharpening, camera lens improvements, faster battery charging, more reliability ie water penetration, cracked screens, more ai which is no use to me. Hopefully anti glare screen improved, great idea and magnet holding your phone in place for driving and using the sat nav brill.

It's a different phone and it should be held with the sharp corner lower and out of the hand. I use a thin and cheap transparent silicone case that provides enough grip. For me it's not a problem once I got used to it. At this moment I'm kind of sad but maybe the new rounded corners will not be as bad as we imagine.

However I am disappointed with Samsung trying to copy iPhone with the rounded corners and saying it was because people were complaining that it made their hands hurt when holding it. It's a freaking huge media device! Who really holds it like a phone. I think they should have did the rounded corners for all the other models except the Ultra. It'll be funny if the next iPhone have the square look. I guess they thought that they can steal iPhone users by doing that 🤦 Listen Samsung!! Just be you! Stop looking and copying iPhone. I'm getting a bit fed up with Samsung. Every year there is a new S-series, of course with a price increase. When problems are found, like the S24U camera, a fix is promised (but not quite yet). The promises to fix eventually overshadow the rest, the year has gone by, no point waiting for a fix for the camera. But hey, you can buy a new S25U. It has everything fixed (or maybe not, we reserve the right to make changes).
