I acquired a sako finnbear deluxe. In 30 06. It matches my father's hunting rifle I remember as a boy. He had to pawn it at some point. It was in 300win. Whats really nice is I shoot left hand and was able to find one. A beautiful rifle. I married a leopold vx-5 with the wind plex to it. It fits like it was made for me. The off set and palm swell in the stock. The blue is so deep and reflecting the barrel disappears when you shoulder it and look down. Out of all my rifles that one will be known as Grandpa's rifle one day. When I pass it down.

I'm a huge, HUGE Sako fan and am proud to own a few. One S20 and two TRG22s. Their ammo is just as fine quality as their rifles and I've been slowly hoarding that, too.

Great shooting and a fabulous rifle. A Sako TRG-S (.270 Win), Sako 75 (6.5x55) and Sako 85 Black Bear (.308 Win) are among my most accurate hunting rifles. Their ammo is excellent as well. Looking forward to you doing some long-range videos with this one.

Departed friend won a Sako sponsered hunting trip to Finland many moons ago. He called them "Say co", he was quickly and politely corrected by company reps, who told him "Seiko" is a watch, the firearms company is pronounced "Sack O" LOL

WTW you forgot to mention that it has dual plunger ejectors and the trigger itself can also be adjusted for length of finger pull ( the trigger can be moved forwards and backwards). to fit your hand properly. That’s cool

Everyone i've ever know to have a Sako says they shoot well beyond expectations for an off the shelf rifle. I owned a TRG22 and it was the best shooting rifle I ever owned. I truly regret selling it.

Lifelong Sako fan here. Best 100 yd group of my life was with a Sako AV in 300 Weatherby mag, one slightly oval shaped hole which measured .333 EDGE TO EDGE the long way. Just can't beat 'em.

I bought an OLD Sako at a yard sale. $50. Best rifle i ever had. After working up the loads i could put 5 in the same hole. Not a raggity hole but the SAME hole. 45 grain softnose Sierra slug. Took more game with that one rifle than all the others combined. Moose, bear, wolves,ect. Shot em all in the ear. Except the wolves/ fox. Instant drops with no exit holes. When the cabin burned down i cried over THAT rifle. Destroyed in the fire. One can always build another cabin but thoes " Once in a lifetime" rifles are worth more than gold. Out to 400 yards, out of all the rifles ive ever had that was the best ever. Its trigger was @ 2 lbs also. Cheap ol Weaver 3/9 scope. At 400 it was printing .5. Course, i went through a LOT of various loadings to find the perfect one. Various powders, slugs, weights, primers, ect. Probebly tried 20 different combos before finding it. Out of all the loads its worst pattern was .5 @ 100 yards. Had 2 others that were close. A Remington 243 & surprise, suprise was an old style Ruger M77 in 300 win mag. Damned fire got the Sako & the Remington & a so called " friend" stole the Ruger. Somewhere down the line 1 moa @100 became " accurate." 50 years ago we called that JUNK.

@Marcusb338
@Marcusb338 11 ай бұрын
@@yournotthatguypal9749it has nothing to do with the FPS. It’s all about efficiency and spin rate. The PRC is getting 100fps over the rem mag with less case capacity and it can stabilise 180 or even 195gr projectiles. Rem mag tops out at 162-168gr tops in standard tikka and sako rifles. Also not to mention the COAL is shorter, so you can seat those longer projectiles out further. End result? Less powder, more velocity, WAY better ballistic coefficient, more energy and less drop down range, and you can seat those bullets out and not have mag length restricting you as much. No Brainer picking a 7mm PRC over the rem mag.

Beautiful rifle. Fact still remains, recoil, trigger and accuracy goes out the window when a 130 in and plus walks out within 100 yds after your 3 hour daydream when in a stand. Ive never felt the recoil, remember how i pulled the trigger, remember how loud or how accurate i was. Mr Majestic will screw you up if you are truly passionate. Sub moa turns into 6in groups quickly. 35 years and i still get screwed up everytime.
