TA rules has been changed in April 2023. Now a person joining TA as an officer has to undergo 6 months of continuous training in OTA Chennai. There is no PIB stage now. Written+ SSB+Medicals( just like any other entry) Now the most odd thing is no private sector will lose you for 6 months training (1st year)+ 2 months training( every year). Even govt organisations are giving NOC woth hesitations. Despite this the promotion criteria has not changed. Do they make policies while sleeping?..

India does not have a Regular Army because of Central Government. Central Government has now already disbanded many Territorial Army Units as part of cost cutting. Financial cutbacks only for Indian Army who keep the country united. Politicians give up powers, perks & pensions. Central Government has no respect for Indian Army. Gates of Army Cantonment & Military Stations have been opened for unofficial traffic. Army Land in Army Cantonment being transferred to local municipal council. All this is being done for vote bank politics. Army Units must establish Control Room, gates, barriers, check post & security walls of Army Cantonment & Military Stations. Anyone can see Army unit, equipment, quarters or establishments. Stop unofficial people, traffic & state police in Army Cantonment & Military Stations. ARMY Unit FHQ, REGT BN, COY SQN BTY, PL, SEC & DET Control Room be established with encrypted primary means of communication is Radio set Manpack, Mobile and HHRS sets & secondary land line. Army Troops be given Control Room channels for backup. ARMY ORT or QRF be dispatched. Democracy is only on payers since India Independence. Central Government take it as a challenge & introduce AGNIVEER four years politicians scheme. Same Soldiers salary and compensation be given to the politicians. Apply AGNIVEER scheme on civil services and all government ministries. Just employ them for next four years. India does not need so many paramilitary organizations like BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, SSB and NSG. Central government is wasting crores of finances. The degradation of the Indian Military Forces is happening because of the YES SIR attitude of the Chief of the Army Staff and Senior Army Officers. Their aspirations are high with no interest in ARMY & all are looking for their post retirement benefits of becoming Governor, Ambassador or joining Political party. Chief of the Army Staff & Senior Army Officers you are for Troops & not for politicians. Army is a way of Regimented life for both Officers and Soldiers. There is a lot of interference from politicians and bureaucrats who have no idea & interest in the duties of the Indian Military Forces. The Super Flop agniveer entry scheme should be stopped and Regular Soldiers recruitment should be conducted as per the original Army Service. Three entitled benefits of Retired Troops of ECHS, CSD & Pension to be given. ARMY Troops are the most suitable, physically fit, agile, motivated and have the best aptitude than any other SARKARI employee of any ministry who don’t even know how to treat their own citizens. There is no desire of Central Government for ARMY family’s welfare. Every ARMY Cantonment has a shortage of quarters and they cannot be with their family. It is tough to get admission in schools and there are no colleges for them. Apart from this ill treatment of the Soldiers by SARKARI employees. Indian Army Soldiers need respect, on time leave, peace postings, admission of their children in schools & colleges, good diet which are just the basic. Soldiers & their families contribute a lot for the development of the country. No government employee takes premature retirement except Indian Army Troops. Central Government & Army have put no efforts to retain Soldiers. Trained professionals who are asset to the country are made to look for Job. Indian Army is already short of Officers as there is no professional growth after a particular rank. The most talented also have to look for jobs in the civilian work place and that is how there is no retention and they have to move on. That’s why Officers & Soldiers going through such conditions for years have to take premature retirement. Role of the Indian Army is to fight war & protect the borders of the country. For this there is a need Officers and Soldiers. Financial cutbacks are no solutions. Soldier behind the machine makes the victory possible through his years of experience. Machines can be manufactured again but there is no substitute for experience Soldiers. When there is a super weak Chief of the Army Staff & Senior Army Officers at every FHQ this is how you get treated. Indians have never seen ARMY so weak and discouraged. Politicians know nothing about the Army. Ministry of Defence should be headed by the Chief of Defence Staff and not by any Neta. In addition to this MOD should have only Military Personals posted and no civilians. Original name of three Military Headquarters to be restored to Army Headquarters, Naval Headquarters and Air Headquarters. No to IHQ of MOD very Sarkari. Pan India establish new Military Stations with one TA Battalion in addition Serving Army Officer and Soldiers must operate Army Veterans facilities Officers Mess, Soldiers Mess, ARMY Canteen and ARMY Hospital. ARMY HEADQUARTERS must stand up for its respect & power.
