I just finished my Sakura Book Nook thank you for this video I used it along with the instructions because sometimes it's impossible to tell what the instructions are saying. This video made it way easier to complete the kit. I also appreciate the fact that you show us the completed kit ahead of time. That other KZbinr doesn't do this. Have to fast forward all the way to the end to see it completed. Took me about 20 hours, I really went slow took my time. Also ran out of glue. Wound up using some Elmer's clear glue to finish it. For those of you doing this kit, some advice, if I could do it again, I would not put the paper backing behind the window shutters. There's no reason for it and it just looks lame. Not to mention the window shutters look WAY better when they are just by themselves. For the poster board on the left side near to the stairs, I'm getting ready to print out a cute picture of my nieces since there's an empty space there. For advice, I also would suggest when putting cherry blossoms in the water to place them at different levels, put some on the very bottom and some of them on top of the clear sheet to bring a sense of 3 dimensions. The level of engineering for this kit is incredible. Everything fits and works perfectly. The laser cutting for each piece blows my mind.

Fits well into my space, I painted the back green. It's very easy to customize just the back if that's something you want to do. I would suggest sanding it first before painting, I got a little impatient. The shelves kzbin.infoUgkxM8H4CjCb79vzeyvgaFMdzmLm88oVFPMkare pretty small so keep that in mind if you're going to have it horizontal that some books won't fit. I like the snug look that it has. Good small shelf if you don't have much space, but not too small. Simple to put together, though you'll need your own tools, a screwdriver and a mallet/hammer, it's easiest to do with another person.

I loved putting this together! The only thing that bothered me was the sakura trees and branches. I just put glue wherever I thought was right and stuck the pieces together, because the guidelines were doing nothing for me... The branches just didn't seem to align with the guidelines. But maybe that's just me! Other than that, I enjoyed building this c:

I received this as a gift after leaving lots of hints to my partner ;) And I manage to complete this is three days. Absolutely had fun with this and it's a beautiful piece. I will say this video helped me a lot alongside the instructions, but I did have a few mishaps that meant one side board didn't fit right and one of the sloping pieces didn't fit with the front button piece so I've had to improvise. I also lost the sandpaper so had to force some bits. I'm not a DIY person but I felt this wasn't too bad to make. I would advise winging it in places (near completion) if things go wrong like they did with me. Thank you for making the video! And for anyone looking to make this, it is fun and I wish you good luck!!
