This is such a pretty design. I'm new to tatting and had never heard of a folded join before. Can you tell me why you lock join into the picots instead of the regular join?

Thank you for your compliments! :) I am happy to hear that you start to tat and hope you will enjoy tatting forever! I used lock join because that will create a sharp "V" shape curve for the chains. If I use regular join, it will be more flattened. You can try to use the regular join to compare the result. :)
