How was water and weather for swimming ? We want to visit with kids in a middle may :) Although bathing in salt water give me some ideas =)

Do you mean the sea or the swimming pools? Weather is amazing! We went in April so May should be even nicer!

You will absolutely lo e it! Its one of out favourite setinations. We have boiked Boa Vista April '25. Itll be interesting to see the differences with Sal @Fesovika

@@Fesovikasee is quite rough. Be extremely careful as the waves are quite big. The pools are salt water but not overly salty. When you jump in they feel very cold but after a while you feel fine. Oddly, when you decide to get out, the wind makes it feel cold and you want to stay in the water! After drying off though, you're fine and begin to get hot again 😂

Hi mate, can I ask what the temperature was like out there in April? We are looking to go in April 2025 but not sure if it will be hot enough?

Hi Connor, weather was red hot! It is windy which can sometimes mask how strong the sun is. It is shorts and tee-shirt weather though. It think it was close to 30⁰ every day. It does get cooler at night however. I'd certainly take a cardigan or jacket if you plan on watching shows in the outdoor theatre. Get it booked, you won't be disappointed!!!

Hi Peter! Honestly, it is an amazing place. You'll love it! The underwater shots, I used a GoPro. Everything else, I used a DJI Pocket 3 - an amazing bit of kit 👍

What shoes would you wear for that day trip?

Hi Aga, I'd wear comfortable trainers but take some water shoes with you. There are plenty of opportunities to change footwear when at the sharks and salt lake. Hope that helps. Enjoy Sal, it is magical!
