I was like come on its just a high school graduation party. My mom had to explain to me that since my sisters disorder "Angelman Syndrome" similar to down syndrome but more severe is the best way to describe it. But my mother said she wont have a boyfriend, she wont be able to have a relationahip and get married one day, she have a "career" and many other things for us to do in our lives. And knowing my sister wont have those opportunities unfortunately, the bigh school graduation might be one of the only things she will gey to have a family and frienda all come celebrate for and with her. Sal might be the most genuine, down to earth, selfless and loving guest I’ve ever seen on This Past Weekend or JRE. Dude gained even more of my respect definitely a proud fan here of the man.

Sal talking about happiness having to be generated later on in adulthood is so relatable. I think accumulted trauma and the brain's default to the worry/negative side of life is a natural thing. So beautiful to see the emotion in this episode., I laughed my ass off and cried and got inspired by this so much x

this conversation was so refreshing!! Hearing Sal talk about his daughter and how he won’t be able to see the last half of her story SENT ME! What an interesting perspective and true unconditional love. love the honest emotion that we feel day to day

The intro used to not have that "I'm upstaaairs!" part. He added it in after he made the joke on his podcast lmao

Great episode! I’ve been with Theo since day one, Sal is one of the guests who have the level of chemistry and wit to keep up with Theo, while still getting lost in great conversation. Let the length of the videos always be a testament to how much Theo is enjoying/lost in the conversation as well.

This is one of my favorite episodes. Sal & Theo are two of the sweetest men with the biggest hearts. Theo deserves this kind of love from his own family. Love and happiness to you both. ♡♡

I love how wholesome the end of this pod got. I know he doesn't want his family out there in the public eye but it was really nice to hear about Sal and his family and the amount of love he has for them. Great episode boys ❤

theo writing letters to his future children to tell them he's thinking about them... because he didn't know if his own parents cared.... is kinda heart wrenching. what a sweety.
