On my 3060ti, im averaging about $1.70/day now. I had to have almost 100GB free on my Windows install drive as you cant install Salad to another drive. Now that im on 80GB RAM i get total system usage of 36-37GB.

@@mohammadehsanghumman Hey Bud! Things have been changing with Salad since this post. Versions of Salad have changed and an issue with Nvidia drivers came up as well. I was doing around the $1.80 range till yesterday and now I'm around $1 range. @Brandoncoin has more videos up about all of it.

I've got some 10Gb 3080s w/ 32gb ram machines and we'll see how those turn out... My 3060 Ti/3070 Ti rigs are 100% not worth it.

today i have not hit any big jobs and most hours no jobs with a rtx 4070 12GB and xeon 6-core with 64GB RAM. i have a support ticket in with Salad and waiting a response. tried restarting.

just an update, Salad support got back to me and i made no changes but my Chopping Power went up to 5/5. it's now getting jobs all the time.

No Sir, only Gaming GPUs get the Jobs atm. Never Get a Touch on my A5000's and a2000s My3080tis are pretty often "rented"

yes but your Downstream is Fully Used, even with bandwith Sharing Deactivated. I think thats the Users Upload theyr LLm's for Training and u barely can use your Internet at normal Speed anymore. It gets worse when you have Multiple Rigs On. (i have about 10 Workstations with 3080tis and 3070s and my 100mbit down is FULLY used (some kind of Streaming still works but Online Gaming is not Possible anymore)

hey bro! can you share you exact settings for salad? you say "turn off mining" is that the one with PoW workload on settings? then will I still get workloads if I turn that off? Cant find a lot of videos about this.. they are all old.. hehe. i tried it with the PoW on I'm was getting like 1.66 per day.. but its just like normal mining.. if you can explain it a bit further it would be much help.. appreciate it! thanks!

In having spoken to Salad they do not support dual gpu's. It will just take 1 GPU for workloads and not use the second. They did tell me it does not matter if a card is running on an x1 or and x4 slot, x16 is not required. I have power not tested it. So this is just straight from the supports mouth :)

Definitely make sure you have virtual machine and WSL enabled on your windows,.. Im trying to figure out how to turn off bandwidth sharing as the pc im using for getting familiar with with this is on wifi so... My 3060 with 32gb ram and ryzen 5 3600 6 core has made .29 cents in 24hrs. Not great but not bad either... I have a tesla k80 24gb card coming in i thought id try and see what it could do cause it was rather cheap .. going to compare with the 3060 once it and my other stuff comes in... But definitely would like to know how to turn off bandwidth share. Haven't figured that out yet.

I disabled Windows defender all together because it was blocking Salad even tho it was whitelisted, this is a dedicated pc with no personal info stored on it so be careful how you handle that ( Not a financial advise) my experience afterwards no down time and daily income improved a lot just about $2 x day just running a 3060 12 Gigs and bandwidth sharing.

Not currently. Container jobs are not available on AMD gpus, and probably won't be for a while. You can still mine, but it's not going to be profitable

8GB cards can do okay. I was making almost $2/day last week with my 3070 before my @*&%(!(*&^! card decided to barf and blow out a VRAM chip. I had already RMA'd it twice in 2021 when I bought it and 3rd time's a charm now that its out of warranty. So rather than making money with salad I'm already having to spend more to get going on it lol. Thanks for the video!

No, the cards need RTX (AI) hardware to be profitable. The 1080Ti only just mine with it.

Yes but the container will only use 1. You can use the other to play games on, and you can't specify which to use. Typically it'll use the "better" card.
