You can fix the bend pin with knife point or alternatively big surgical needle, that has the inside hole bigger than the pin diameter, If you mess it up and the pin will brake of it is still fixible, If you take it to repeir shop, they wil resolder that pin for new one, as long as you dont breake off the whole pin/coper contact point from the PCB.

Use an ifix-it bit or the end of a mechanical pencil. The tube is small enough to get all the way down on the pin and you can gently bend it back. Happens to the best of us bro.
@SmartMoneyRyan6 ай бұрын
You can bend the pin back with something sharp, like a knife. Or pointy. You don't need a digital microscope but you could use one they're like $40cad. If it's more than a 80degree bend. You only have 1 chance to unbend it. If you go to far it will snap.

For straightening the pin(s) - small, medium to soft bristle, artists’ paint brush available from any hobby store in art & crafts section. Use just the bristles horizontally to the CPU surface, insert amongst the pins, then gently bring up the tip vertically. And Viola …. does whole groups of pins at once. Hope this helps. ALso, ESD wrist strap and mat recommended.
@Jackel13376 ай бұрын
fix the processor with a razor blade, first just slide the razor down the rows of pins to get them straight, then go the other direction, then repeat, but this time bend the razor one way until the pins are in row with the others, then bend the other way, and repeat going the other direction

Toothpick or pin and a steady hand, slowly bend the pins until they are relatively straight with the other ones. Do not use too much force or the pin might break off.

I have used a pocket knife and a razor blade to bend pins back in place. Just be gentle since they break easy. Also in some cases a broken pin does not affect anything.

Do unbent the cpu pins you can use a pencil with the tip, with a magnifier, I am using an electronic one and fixes a lot of cpu and also motherboard with slight bent and works fine.

If you need more advice in repearing cpu's i have a lot of experience in repairing am4 processors i have repaird over 30. My advice would be to just use a pair of fine tweezers to bend the pin back. While other tools like lead pencils can be used, I recommend tweezers because they allow you to see what you are doing more clearly. Additionally, if you could provide a better photo of the CPU, I can check if the bent pin is important. In the area where your CPU's pin is bent, there are many power pins that are not critical. for the operation of the processor.

Are you sure its good to have your setup standing like that? You sure it does not stress the CPU cooler? The CPU cooler is heavy and is now in a position where it might lean a bit down, even though you don't see it with the naked eye. My solution to this was to get 3D printed som angled vertical stands, and since then, I never had any problems with my cooler. Just be careful not to put much tension on the holders for the cooler. Just a tip.
