Now that I think about it, Goku and Frieza actually do have a lot on common for this what-if scenario: both have been absurdly and abnormally strong from the moment of birth, having NEVER faced any true challenges in fights. Plus, even in this fight here, both got a bit too confident and paid the price for it. Or at least Frieza will be paying the price for his overconfidence in part 4 since Goku's already paid the price for HIS overconfidence here in part 3.
