If Van Dijk wants to save himself for the world cup he's more than welcome to do that on the bench at this rate. With Matip still going strong and Konate back to full fitness, there's no reason why Van Dijk should still be starting for us in current form aside from blind loyalty

And I think he has the right attributes for the right Bck position. Let him rotate with the nrw kid we Just boight. We aint getting a midfielder in january and we are short in midfield. Relax mate, you're just a frustrated Liverpool fan so I get it. You seem to forget that the same Trent and Mo that you want to see getting dropped have been very pivotal in Liverpool's success over the years. This group of players have been playing an intense style of football that is very physically demanding for years, so you need to understand that it tends to take a toll. What Liverpool need is a new system, a new style of play that will suit certain players and I think Klopp is trying to do that. Liverpool also need to bring fresh young talent to replace the aging ones, but apparently FSG doesn't want to spend. What happened with Arsenal is proof that the new system can work especially against lesser opposition.

The whole Salah dilemma is his form been shocking since AFCON its not all about the contract some could argue that it is but for me its since AFCON. He was phenomenal start of last season arguably best in the world at that form all the way till AFCON and after that was the end of him. He only had one decent game after that tournament it was Man utd at Anfield and dropped miserably since. I didn’t even know Salah was on the pitch he went missing

I partly agree, he's had a few decent games but nothing or anywhere near what was expected of him or his capabilities after AFCON. I think after his work rate and coming out of it at the end without trophies has depleted him now, his first touches are still good but he lacks that final touch now his head isn't in the game and it's almost like he has given up.

Gomez needs to start against Rangers and City, but there's no direct replacement for Salah. Might get away with Elliot against Rangers. If it weren't for other areas, competition for Mo would be the pressing issue. As misfiring as he's been, he's still useful drawing defenders in the final third.

The cross should never have come in. The sudden switch back from Martinelli should have been taken care of by Henderson. Yes, Henderson didn't look like he was going to get there hence why Trent had his back but then Henderson was like a truck that suddenly applied its brakes. The momentum had him continue forward onto Trent. If anything you could argue that Trent didn't yell out to get to the left. But it was still Henderson's fault in my eyes.

When you have multiple world class players off form, it’s indicative of a coaching problem and a tactical problem. It’s no surprise that Thiago also hasn’t looked at his best too. Everyone thought him coming back would solve everything, and then we go and concede 3 goals to Brighton and 3 goals to Arsenal. It’s clearly not a problem with the players, and the people who keep blaming the players are missing the forest for the trees 👍.

I thought Jota, Nunez and Diaz were very bright today, they're the only 3 that look like making anything happen. So when Klopp brought Jota off I honestly didn't get it! The whole midfield and defence needs reinvigorated. At this point I'd be happier to see the youngsters given a chance. Bajcetic, Carvalho and Elliott. The senior midfielders are just not good enough. In defence, trent and Van Dijk need dropped. Both of them are liabilities and have been for a while now. That arsenal team wanted it more than us today and its not the first time this season. They do not look motivated. At least the youngsters would run themselves into the ground and play without fear.

The conclusion, in my opinion, is that. Liverpool is now a team accustomed to Jurgen Klopp. And Jurgen Klopp now the players are not afraid of him and do not do what he tells them.
