Thanks Tom, you had made my day! The lady who made the teddies, Helene, is my Mum who passed away in December. She made teddies up until the week before she passed from cancer aged 83. She made so many over her lifetime and we still have her loyal collectors coming down to the market each week to ask for her bears. Her bears are living all over the world and it was so lovely that you could see her talent and recorded her. Thankyou. 🥰

Hi Tom, Our family visited Hobart back in early 2004. It was our first trip to Tasmania. Incidentally, most of the A's in "Salamanca" are pronounced like you say "apple". I hope that helps. Interesting seeing the market there, as we missed that, not being in Hobart over a weekend. Love the chess set there. Looking at all the food there makes me hungry. Thanks for yet another excellent walk and talk. All the best, Rob.

Nice tour well done, but half the market was shut down and and a lot of stalls were missing and only quarter of the usual crowd attendance and we’re you stopped the video the market usually extends a few more hundred meters up Salamanca place until it reaches Davey st and when running at full capacity is quite an experience which will take usually around a couple hours to have a little look. Cheer’s from tassie 👍

Salamanca is originally a town in the northern part of Spain. It's pronounced Sa la mon ca. And it's spelled Salamanca. So, Tom was right.
