Caps don't last if they are somewhere warm and that's where they seem to be fitted, cheers

Can you connect the wires to any of the capacitor spades ? Or do they have to go in a certain order ?

Hi, yes an AC capacitor has no polarity, so any way round. It's the DC ones that need to be the right way round, cheers

Hi, yes and changed the duff capacitor. Although the control circuitry worked it was not necessary for the my use as I think it was some form of back pressure sensor. subscribed? cheers

I've seen videos of capacitor banks to start cars, wonder if the battery would last longer not taking the strain of high current draw. Its the same on generators not producing power after the capacitor failed, although now they use circuit boards for voltage control but more to go wrong.

@@TheInfoworks we have salamander pump and thats a second salamander pump which stop working properly after not even 2 years 1st one was 1.5 bar that one is 2.0 bars my husband turn it around and now hot water is going but cold one not

Sounds like the motor is stalling when both pumps are working, I suspect a bad capacitor, cheers@@karolinapawlak132

@@TheInfoworks I changed the cap from a new motor and still just hummed with no motion. The new motor was silent until I turned it upside down. Must have been another issue , not the cap

@@chrisellwood3523 Yes there are pressure water flow sensors in the output connection that i disconnect when using these pumps for other uses. Turning the motor over activates the sensor gates, cheers
