Sorry to say... But I'm knocked down with a severe flu. Tragic as I was hoping to film a new Codex T'au Empire game this week with Mike which I've had to cancel. I'm gutted. It was 2001, my two best mates got me into space marines and asked me which I wanted to play. I said my favourite colour was green and hence I’ve played Dark Angels ever since. “I like green” is a powerful argument.

A heavily mechanised army at 2k points with 2 Land Raiders, the Impulsor each containing units as well as the drop pod is a good plan. As seen in this battle they'd be quick up the board, hard to kill and provide excellent fire support to their units they're transporting. The only unit I'm not sure of is the drop pod as in this game it was so advanced that Hestans unit got caught out without really being able to contribute, maybe a Rhino would be better?

Hey! You did it in combat. Just thinking you could have smoked another one of those Wraithblades in shooting! Just a small thing--but it makes them hit harder (this will also help beef up the plan you have with the captain in the squad). I'm a salamander player--so I like to see my lads crush! This game has really made me want to play Salamanders and I'm a huge Xenos supporter! Beautifully painted models, amazing thematic list, and a land raider which we rarely see anymore!

Salamanders are such a great chapter. Some great combos in that army, maybe consider a lancer in place of that executioner to free up some points, and probably slightly more effective with re rolls on the big gun (unless the transport capacity is usually useful for your style, just not in this particular game).

A real nice Salamander army, it's all about the Fire! An extra redeemer wouldn't be bad, but wouldn't it undermine the anti-tank options? + you can't defend 2 land raiders as good as one...

Love your battle reports scorpion. You cut out a lot of the fluff, while keeping a nice mix of narrative play with competitive armies. Not to mention the armies always look great as well as the game boards. Finally the salamanders!
