I’m so glad you covered how Lion ‘sees’ the Emperor. Not many other folks talk about that each Primarch can see past the golden armored tanned skinned figure most mortals see, and how the form Lion can see is the ‘closest’.

Corax also sees the emperor, both as the golden warrior and a normal man. It was very heavily implied Corax can also partially see through the emperor’s glamour as well as the lion

I’m not sure we can be certain that his is “closest”. The emperor reveals himself in whatever manner works best with the person he’s speaking too.

@@ValensBellatorit’s hinted to be or more or less actually stated the lion sees the closest true form of Big E than most of his brothers besides Sanguinias he probably saw the true form in full. Corvax I think his name is, the ravens daddy, he also was like the lion but I think he more or less didn’t care to much whether it was or wasn’t because he already accepted his role

But within that miasmic abyss that is the reality of 40k, you can find unprecedented courage, sacrifice, honor, zeal, tenacity, PURPOSE. Humanity in a form that occupies the extremes of its faults and strengths, and I love the idea of that. The human race in possession of immeasurable power, at war as much with itself as with the alien and chaotic forces that seek to unmake it. I'd much rather have and experience that than the pathetic form we have now, in denial of our own potential - self hating - lacking vision save for a few individuals.

The way Lion, during the Crusade, acknowledges what he had inherited from the Emperor, his own role as the protector and his main trait: Duty and Loyalty and how it plays out in vis return is amazing.

The music just makes everything so much better, like my god the immersion and flow of the story dude. Personally I was fine with the parts 1 and 2, but this is pretty good as well. Its great that I don't have to find part 2 to get the conclusion of a character (or in his case current end to the story so far). Do you know the music used at 1:20:30, its part of the excerpt -Savage Weapons? Its not listed in the descriptions and I can't find it on Epidemic Sound or Legio Symphonica.

🟡 New names for the I Legion: Rock Angels (symbols of the Knights' Rock, the Knights' Winged Sword, Caliban's Earth Angel and Caliban's Lion-Wolf). Caliban is a mountain planet, the Rock (Dark) Angels are rock yellow. (Example the Angels of Absolution are stone white) Instead of the Hexagram theirs is the Octagram.
