Went 5-3 in this victory road tour with a very similar team to the team that won (toxicroak instead of salamence) and the next day I came 3rd in a 65 person limitless tour! Rain feels so strong

I lost to a sand team recently. I got past the excadrill, but not before he flinched me with Iron Head. The Tyranitar was Tera flying with Safety Goggles unbeknownst to me which resulted in a double KO from Rock Slide. In the back he had Grimmsnarl and Annihilape and got the Reflect up when he needed it. He was so patient and did everything right, I couldn’t even be mad I lost lol.

I think that rain team with salamence it's just the best possible version, I've built the same exact team (obviously with slightly different sets) even before you posted the rental, i felt so vindicated hahahahha and I've seen variations on showdown too. I think it's a very intuitive composition to put together if you start from salamence rain

I’ve been loving Salamence on my rain squad, I just swapped it out for Hydreigon for Snarl and Tailwind, trying to gauge which option I like more and I keep second guessing myself 😵‍💫

If you don't have Twitter, get it! It's Pokemon's #1 source of news. This tournament took place on cart but you can find daily cart and showdown tournaments on the limitless website that we've used in a lot of our other videos. On another note, this was a large cash prize pool because Victory Road is the largest grassroot tournament organizer and there's an entry fee for them. Other online limitless tours are free but much smaller prize (ex: $20, 50, or $100 for first place).
