Yoojung is my bias in IOI, but I don't think she has what it takes to be a main vocalist.. (although she's sure ass hell is a capable lead vocal). her tone is very nice and her voice production and breathing is very stable.. perhaps because she used to sing while dancing. but unfortunately her vocal range is very limited.. she often sounds very airy when singing lower notes, and can only reach higher notes with falsetto or "screaming".

I knew Chungha was an amazing singer, but I didn't expect her to be THIS amazing. Although she's the main dancer in IOI, you can pretty much say that say that it's not the thing she's good at just by listening to this. This OST lets her voice shine more ✨ Yoojung's lines in the song are my favorite. I always get goosebumps whenever I hear her parts in the drama. Yes, I agree! It's great that IOI's subunit happened, although I really missed the other 4 members, the subunit members wouldn't have shined if they were there, they wouldn't have gotten a chance to show off their vocal skills. I think Chungha's, Pinky's and Yoojung's vocal skills are totally underrated. Yoojung and Chungha are great at OST's like this, Pinky is great at high notes like in Whatta Man. Pinky especially barely gets used in IOI's regular songs like Dream Girls and Very Very Very and Doo Wap and Knock Knock Knock. She gets like the same amount of lines as Mina and Sohye and Chaeyeon which is really annoying considering how she could be a lead vocalist, I think after Sejeong and Yeunjung, Chungha and Pinky are the next best singers- Chungha for stability, good breathing techniques, and she has a mature tone that expresses emotion well. Pinky has good vocal range- she can sing softly and go pretty high, good control over her voice, and she has a unique voice that doesn't sound like anyone else in kpop to me. I want to hear Pinky have more lines in OSTs or ballads, I think she can express emotion well when singing but she hasn't sang many ballads. Yoojung is also a good singer! She has an energetic, expressive way of singing and she can rap well. It's coincidental that 3 of the best dancers- Chungha, Yoojung, Pinky- are also their best subvocalists. (I'm calling them subvocalists since IOI didn't really assign roles aside from main vocalist, main dancer, visual, leader, etc. Somi is also a great dancer, I think she and Yoojung area IOI's 2nd best dancers, after Chungha, and her vocal skills aren't bad either, she has a distinguishable voice. I personally think that this should've been sung only by Chungha, Yoojung, Doyeon and maybe Pinky. The others don't suit this kind of genre imo. Somi fits upbeat songs, Nayoung too, while Sohye... well, maybe ballad's not for her rip (I'm not trying to be rude ;-;). We've already gotten almost fair line distributions in Whatta Man, but in an OST we have to consider the suitable vocals because it's not like title tracks performed weekly onstage, y'know what I'm saying? And plus, Chungha probably won't get this much lines in their following comebacks, Yoojung will probably be in charge of rapping, so why not enjoy the rare vocals once in a while? :)

+Pinky Chu That's why I think they should've made it as a Chungha x Yoojung x Doyeon song instead of "IOI" because some fans would complain about the line distributions ;___; Lowkey hoped that Pinky got lines though, but idk if her voice suits ballad or not

+Pinky Chu Yeah, I think pinky's voice suits r&b and upbeat songs better but she's a potential vocalist I admit so i hope she gets to showcase more of her singing styles.. now i can't wait for OT11's comeback because we know for sure now that most of the girls can actually sing >
