The author goes to great lengths to establish and build the world, develop the characters, and ensure that the actions everyone takes are in-line with their characters. It's honestly a master class in character development, world building, pacing, and plot structure. It's certainly not for everyone, it gets very dark in places and has a VERY vivid and accurate portrayal of substance addiction, and the whole MLP thing turns a lot of people off. But again, if you keep an open mind I hope you can at least respect it for the writing. Just... Reserve a week or so for it. The story IS longer than the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy combined after all XD

It is so awesome to see this project and especially that it was done with this story. Fallout Equestria (FOE) is such a great read. Plus when you finally think about it, it opens up a big (probably the biggest subfadom) in my little pony fandom. There is so much great stuff out there building on this fanfic. Thousands of fanfictions in the same universe. Great custom-developed Computer games. Many extremely well-produced audiobooks and music. Tons of animations. Tenthousends of fanart. And much much more. Heck, I spent over 500 Euro on 18 different physical FOE books. The fact there are even more different physical copies, should show you how grand the subfadom is.
