Her complexion has become a little lighter with time. If you're similar to her skintone now, you should go for 228 only. Maybelline foundations tend to oxidize a lot. Other creators with NC40 skintone go for 228 in Fit Me if they have olive undertones and 312 if they have golden yellow undertones.
