Saleen Custom Colors Rise Above The Fray

Saleen started offering custom colors in the late 1990's. By the time the New Edge Mustang rolled around they were offering multiple custom color options. This New Edge Saleen is painted in Beryllium Orange paint. The video just can't do this car justice. You have to see one in person to capture the deep hue of this car. A Saleen S7 was painted in this color. While it may seem common today on production cars, this paint was ahead of its time in 2003.
Add the custom paint on top of this car being an Extreme model and you've rounded out the performance with the looks. The Extreme models received a balanced and blueprinted motor with custom cams and forged internals. As Mark mentions in the video, these motors are noisy when they are cold.
