According to the specs listed by Citizen, this watch has a 200 meter water resistance. So I would believe this is a watch you can swim in comfortably. it's probably not comforting for an aviation watch to be taking a dip in the ocean. seriously though, i 'll be cautious diving w/ this watch on. but, the gen 1 nighthawk is definitely a beaut! this watch is getting scarce in the wild nowadays
