Going in mid September with my daughter-in-law, our first trip thank you for sharing. Such great ideas. Definitely going to take a walk down Chestnut Street and a night walk. We are super stoked.!

I have loved Salem ever since I was a little girl thanks to hocus pocus. It was a tradition my grandma would watch with us every year for Halloween. Got older and learned so much about Salems history and been in love with it. Named one of my daughters Salem🖤 now my husband and I go every year:) can’t wait to take my kids one day but the thought of being on a airplane with 4 kids who fight nonstop I’m good for now😂

So cute you both have daughters named Salem! I have a daughter named Ivy because my grandparents owned a 1900’s historic mansard home covered in English ivy and had a purple stained glass window. Kids always thought it was haunted, they didn’t know it was magical inside with a warm wood burning stove and velvet furniture. I miss them 😢

Ahhh! Chestnut Street was really cool. The houses were MASSIVE and AMAZING!! One of our tour guides took us down there. I need to experience Cry Innocence when I visit the next time during fall!! 🎃🌙🕸️🐈‍⬛

Have you done Gallows Hill/The Lost Museum? I think it’s one of the highest quality attractions in Salem and I feel like not enough people talk about it!

Absolutely gorgeous in Autumn! Colder of course because it’s by the water but still beautiful!! The arcades are only open during the summer months though 🧡

Looking for a suggestion from a fellow Marylander. When you go to Salem, do you drive or fly there? My wife, daughter and I finally made it there last week and it was everything I hoped it would be (trip vlogs on my channel). Anyway, which way do you prefer to travel since you go so often because it was nearly ten hours from our neck of the state driving there lol
