You gotta go Pleasantville. One of jerseys most underrated overlooked hoods in the state. It’s where beanie sigel got shot. Where that shoot out happened at the high school football game between them and Camden. Everyone just assumes that it took place in Camden…..but nah that was the ville…..close to egg harbor city which used to be real rough too. (Not to be confused with egg harbor township or little egg harbor). Right outside Atlantic City. Atlantic county has a few slept on hoods down there. It aint just AC itself.

I’m from Salem it’s no jobs there and the major dogs nothing to help the homes that’s abandoned or need work they just let them get to how they are and we are from basically the country region of jersey so we would have to go out of town for resources such as grocery stores and so on and so on I’m literally 25 years old and I grew up here most my life yeah the crimes are high but it’s really a good place with good people and the world knows nothing about it when they should I’m going to be the one to change all of this real soon tho Salem gonna be on the map sooner then later the city and people grew off survival here it’s not abandoned place it just looks like a scary movie lol

@@MrToni0914Yeah besides Jersey city most cities in south jersey have the higher violent crime rates since it’s so small and North jersey has higher property crime rates since it’s so dense but both are messed up especially Cumberland county every city in Cumberland is on NJ most violent cities list

Salem is nowhere as big as them cities so of course there will be more going on. Salem is number 1 most dangerous town with less than 10,000 residents according to FBI report.
