I'm very encouraged about this because it seems to salute the 1979 Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre fame) mini series featuring David Soul,Lance Kerwin, James Mason, Bonnie Bedevil ( Die Hard fame) and the book Stephen King wrote in 1975.. excited!! also a somewhat different effort in 2004 (Rob Lowe, Donald Sutherland)

I’ve never seen the original. Honestly I’m not hearing great things about it. It was supposed to come out last year and theaters now to streaming isn’t promising.
