Sales Continue to Go Up! What Sold on Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Whatnot, and depop

I'm a top seller on Depop and the biggest key is to post everyday. A minimum of 3 items even if it's relisting something you already have up. The algorithm loves consistency. I used to offer free shipping but I switched to a $5 flat rate and honestly my sales went up. I do free shipping on bundles still.

I have noticed my sales are better with depop because I am just crosslisting everything. I have been so surprised at what has sold on depop. Definitely not just trendy and vintage. I dislike how expensive the depop shipping is for the buyer, but if I use my own shipping (pirate, etc), my understanding is there won’t be any seller protection. That’s what I have been told anyways. Do you have experience with this? Any issue? Thanks!

@audfashionfinds I ship through Pirateship and I've only ever had one issue. Depop still covered it though that could have been a courtesy. I have my shipping set at $5 for nearly everything and find that works well.

Oregon had service, you couldn't pump your own gas. Does anybody remember oil check, windshield clean, etc? Old times. Not full service, but really nice! Now it's sometimes, some places they will pump your gas at the same price. It's not a problem for me to do, but I do appreciate it. Jobs!

I’ve noticed that a lot of resellers that used to do thread up boxes no longer do them due to the products within them

I’ve had a run of full price sales and really old items selling. It seems like sales come in when I don’t stress too much about it.

its your turn.. my sales have been shut off LOL. Two weeks prior were busy... I swear they all just share the wealth between sellers. Been listing more too. Just listed a bunch of books I've been sitting on, so that may have hurt the store. Who knows... getting ready to list 36 Christmas carolers so we will she what that does.

The middle to end August was super slow for me but it’s like a switch was flipped September 1st and sales picked back up (thankfully). I’m trying to to figure out Depop, too. So far, no sales there but I keep on keeping on.
