Hi, Thanks for your insights. Can you please help me? In D365 Advance Warehouse - Sales order process -Shipment. After I post the 'outbound shipment' and 'Post a delivery note' in the 'Load' form - D365 generates the Delivery note /Packing slip. How do I know the 'Load number' against the Delivery note/packing slip? Delivery note/Packing slip - does not have Load ID reference.

Can the system be configured to auto-generate the packing slip upon packing completion? Rather than the user having to click the buttons to generate it

Unfortunately I don't think there's a way to do this.

Once you have confirmed a shipment, can you un-confirm it? example being a shipment being sent to another company warehouse that has parts that wind up being needed at the current location for a hot order before the shipment has physically left. Can this be done?

HI , before you did the release to warehouse did you also do the reservation step?

Hello, one question. We have one line on sales order. We would like to pick it by LP. Line amount is 20. We have two LP with quantity of 10. Two works should be created to pick each LP seperately or am I wrong? We're not sure how to do it (work break, location directive, ...). If you have any hint on how to set up the right picking "method", I would really appreciate it!

I haven't run into that exact scenario but I think you would want to create a work break on LP. Have you tried that and it doesn't work?

@@Scott-Gaines not working. But not sure why not. We decided to go with allow splitting of work on mobile device menu item. Do you maybe know if this is the same functionality as work split in application?

Hello all well? I did the walkthrough that was shown in the video, but at the moment of "confirm shippiment" is presenting the following error message. "Some of the items that are needed to load CCH-000091 have not yet been picked and moved to the final shipping location." Thanks

Hey Pedro what that error message means is that you have some work that isn't completed or you have items that aren't in the baydoor location. If you go to all shipments screen and open up the shipment there is a panel on the right side of the screen that would show you unfinished work. If all work has been finished and you're using packing station look to see if there is something that hasn't been packed.

I need your help in the below I need guidance in an advanced warehouse scenario. Item: 100100 Batch On-hand Location B1 2 Loc1 B2 2 Loc1 B3 2 Loc1 Sales order is created with 5 units. In one of the D365 environments, work(pick) is created with 1 line with 5 units for Location Loc1, but in another environment, the work(pick) is created in 3 lines with 2, 2, 1 units. I need help on achieving the same in the first environment. I compared the configs, and they seem the same.

The work ID creation also depends on the Unit sequence group and license plate grouping, and one setup in mobile device menu item, check those setups as well, it it helps.

I followed your steps but I got this message: “No new sales lines have been released to the warehouse for sales order …”. Need help.

This msg u received when u tried to Release the SO to the warehouse, if ur onhand is not available in the warehouse for which is mentioned if the SO, or Location mentioned in the SO has No on hand inventory. Second reason, if u r already released the SO n made no new changes in the SO lines, and u r attempting to release to the WHOLE, that tym this error appears. There maybe other reasons as well, Hope it helped !

Hello, I have a question about changing the mode of delivery in the header for multiple sales orders on a PO in bulk without combining the sales orders into one shipment. Is this possible?

Hello, I'm not aware of any bulk update to the mode of delivery in the sales order header. I believe you'd have to do a modification for that.
