if we trigger the time based workflow for one day before the opportunity closed and we assign the closed date to today then its scheduled date is shown to yesterday . Its works fine

Is it possible to send the email to multiple people using time based workflow? For example if multiple contacts are present and needs to send email to all the contacts associated to the opportunity. Is it possible using workflow or process builder?

in crtieria you are putting time based action i.e 1 day before opportunity close, but how it will calculate before 1 day as how we will know opportunity will change to closed before 1 day @Salesforce Apex Hours

When we use past date as close date still workflow in queue but previous day. But how it is valid? after refresh page workflow is removed from queue

By changing the closed date, if the time based workflow's scheduled date calculate to past then the time based work flow action will trigger immediately
