Sir, I have watched many flow videos and yours by far explain flows the best. I am only up to this one and working it out with you and I finally feel I understand flows better than I ever did before. Thanks Alex.

It's worth to emphasize that variable should be named exactly 'recordId' (case sensitive), otherwise it will produce wrong results - it was quite surprising for me. Thanks for the beautiful tutorial!

Could you please explain how the recordID variable get its value? I can see that it is somehow got the Id of the current record, but I just wonder how the value got assigned to it? I got it to work, I just don't know why it worked.

Is it possible to use Flow to display a field on the accounts page based on the value of another field, If that value is false then the field does not show up?

Once again, outdated material and now I'm stuck because of it. At 1:21, you are taking lesson 1c and doing a save as and naming it 1d. You don't get to pick a new Flow Type when saving as so I can't choose "screen flow" as the type and so I can't add a screen. I'm going to have to start 1D as a new flow with the "Screen Flow" type using the tutoral of 1c. Pretty frustrating. But It's practice and I have time on my hands so I'll manage but I'm sure people with less time or want to keep moving forward at a faster pace will not be happy. And to make matters worse, at 0:50, you clicked "save as" on 1c quickly switched to a new tab to explain something and then later came back to finish the saving process, you didn't even say you were saving 1c as 1d. I am now fully convinced that you need to redo the whole series. You do have something going for you which is that your voice is clear and the tutorial is easy to follow but sometimes you will do something real quick without explaining it or very bad editing will mess up the flow of the video. Or there are steps like creating custom fields that you totally omit. I was able to get through this pretty easily because learned how to create fields well before I started learning about flows. And of course there are steps that you took in the video that are now longer an option in Salesforce.
