Yes, I have in the 70s and I was thankful that I made it out of the store alive, let alone not arrested. If I was arrested, my Japanese American friend said to me, "you know, if we were arrested, I think we would have been disappeared. No one would hear from us or see us again." To tell you what we were doing, we just walked into a mom and pop service station store in the gold mining mountains, buying supplies. We were hunting and panning for gold.

Yes, all the time when I want to buy clothes. That's why shopping for clothes is such an awful thing for me to do. It is the only right thing to do. There are people that say Ukraine is not ready for acceptance into the European Union, because of corruption. You have to develop society with checks and balances to ensure that corruption is not happening. I know that if the system was totally corrupt, Ukraine would not exist. Ironically, Russian corruption keeps Ukraine alive and winning battles and ultimately Ukraine will win. This is why I support these channels and why I believe the people at Amomama are true heroes. Like when the Soviet Union fell in the 90s, Russia will fall under the weight of its corruption, helped by the economic sanctions. Slava Ukraini..

The sad part is that folks have been saying what year it is since forever. It was once 1623, 1723, 1823, 1923. The point is that the times are always changing. The question is: Are we changing with the times, and are we changing for the better? Today is a good case in point. Some folks would love to roll back the proverbial clock and erase the gains that have been made for many groups. We don't need to be watching the clock. We need to be speaking to the people about their behavior, and call them out on their BS (like this video does). We need to be demanding change for the betterment of us all.

"...Racism is wrong, it's evil. It's absolutely unacceptable..." This is great writing and you have one of my favorite actors speaking those words with absolute conviction. The video also shows that in a free society, you have to take complaints seriously and suspend the officer or run the risk of corruption setting in. That line asking how old Karen was and saying she appears to be too young to have such old, outdated ideas, that is pure gold. Don Allen, playing the police officer is one of your finest actors. The actress that plays the sales manager was also powerful in this role. But, I really liked how Filip Walcerz played the precinct captain, hmmm. He is the upper tier, prima sort of your cast of actors. This episode so deserves to be a Special and you so deserve sponsorship. You continue to have the best scripts, finest casting, direction and edittng on this channel. DramatizeMe, you are changing society and showcasing our evolving society in these Specials. @TheLAGopher9 ай бұрын
Perjury is lying under oath in court. It would be providing a false statement. The problem is the security guy didn’t technically lie about anything. Nothing he supported as a witness was factually incorrect. The context was all wrong because it was driven by Karen’s racism but there really isn’t anything that could be pointed out as deliberately lying on the security guys part. You would think that a true police investigation would not have a suspended officer being sent to confront a suspect who made a false complaint against him. Instead they should have sent another Black officer into the store undercover and wired to see if Karen gives him similar treatment.

Hi @nataliaillusion1869🤗It depends on the different societies. It is true that if the world is compared to how it was several decades ago, the situation has improved a lot and there is much greater awareness that racism is something intolerable. However, it is a problem that has not yet been completely solved and that is why we must continue to teach people that we are all born with the same dignity regardless of the color of our skin❤👍
