^The world doesn't need to know your pain ^ I love this quote. I have had Rheumatoid disease for 25 years but I'm sat here doing my skincare & make up as I do everyday, even if I'm only going to be on the sofa. It makes me feel better inside to know that I don't look the way I feel. Great video, ty.

Sally you are the gift that keeps on giving!! Trish I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful Husband. He was a very kind man and when he looked at you, well it was such a sight to behold, true love at its finest!! I remember being in your gorgeous home in NYC with my then boss from Nordstrom. You and your lovely doggies were so joyous!! I have been using your brand to paint faces for the last 33 years and I hope to keep using it until I put down my last brush!! Gorgeous interview, Gorgeous ladies!! TRISH YOU ARE A LEGEND!!! Love from Ireland XOX

Just wanted to say I had the pleasure of briefly meeting Trish many years ago when she did a personal appearance at Nordstrom and she was really lovely. She focussed on each woman's individual face and features and helped select the most flattering shades. I remember saving up to buy her brushes because they were sable and so extraordinary. She was gorgeous and glamorous and I was so happy to see this video.

I love Trish and her beauty line! I will always have fond memories of her after hearing the story of my grandmothers friends trying to hail a cab in New York and Trish pulling up in her limo and telling them to get in and she would give them a ride! What a fantastic lady!!

Germaine Monteil was the first beauty brand I remember, my aunt worked for them in the 70's and I was fascinated by their products and the smell of their perfume. Hearing the name brought back so many happy memories of my childhood, my lovely late aunt and her amazing bathroom filled with Germaine Monteil products 😊

Back in the 1980s, my older sister developed adult acne. She had never had a skin problem before and suddenly her skin was breaking out badly. One of the executives at work recommended her dermatologist, Dr. Ronald Sherman. At her first appointment, my sister brought all the products she was currently using and Dr. Sherman pointed out how wrong they were for her skin. He treated her acne successfully and his wife, Trish McEvoy, gave her these wonderful facials and her products. Not only did her skin improve, but they were so kind and really educated her on skincare; very classy people.

I am obsessed with Trish and her makeup. I buy so much of her makeup and skincare. I only use her brushes to apply my makeup. She is so inspiring and witty. I need to buy her book. I want her to write an autobiography.

Many many moons ago, Trish made me over and she is exactly the same as she was then as now! Truly walked away leaving my best friend. Truly inspirational ..... Wish I had the backing back then to do what I had dreamed off. I did buy her first leather case, my filo makeup and it went everywhere with me, sadly it was stolen out of my hotel room in Frankfurt but watching this realises how much I have missed it, time to save for another one. Trish, love you loads, you too Sali. Great video, sitting with tears in my eyes, happpppppy tears!!! xxx

Great video - as all in this series always are and Trish is such the epitome of classy- but I must say, Ms. Hughes, YOU look amazing! Whatever you are doing- keep doing it. You have always been a beautiful, strong, authentic caller of BS , but you look as if you are in a beautiful period of your life and I am so happy for you -as a long time viewer who is instantly hitting play as soon as you upload a new video and so appreciative of your standards to maintain the integrity of the art and history of fashion in a world that tends to focus on what marketing peddles as art .

Germaine Monteil is unfortunately not around. My late Auntie Toxy (Yvonne Gordon) loved GM. Used her skincare and her perfume. She wore the most wonderful scent ever Galore. It was in a frosted glass bottle, rectangular in shape with a lilac top. Loved that perfume. Neil x

I must honestly say I don't believe that. I think we mimic our surrounding. The way people around us hold themselves and the way people speak. That is the way you learn new language. You listen. And one thing that is being left out when it comes to appearance that is often being left out is posture. Everyone speaks about clothes, makeup, hair. People, posture is number one.
@tex16225 жыл бұрын
@@mmescarlettziegfieldvonbis4551 I was just trying to be playful, and make more of a comment on style. Indeed, I can't dance to save my life, but I have superb posture and am often asked if I'm a dancer - if only! Essentially I agree with you, but I was trying to be playful and make a distinction about style differences - ie. I will rock a bright lip, tattoos and lashings of mascara on my upright body, rather than the elegant blouse and skirt attire of the lovely Trish Mcevoy.I also feel a kinship with women who aren't perfectly put together, who might have a lipstick stain on their shirt, a hair out of place; a woman who will pop her feet up on the table and roar. I guess I was trying to say all of that with a less than pithy playful remark. Know what I mean? ;)
