Although the RPDR's franchise is oversaturated I fear that if the show ends a lot of queens will struggle financially and/or they will try to shove us (queer people) under the rug again

Not if they do shows with the already showcased queens. Example: Drag me to Dinner or the Vegas show. They can come out with a new season and an All Stars every other year. Rotate it.

Yes it's hard to find work. They keep using the same queens for the same things and promoting the ones that are popular. I would love to see a season of All Star with non popular queens just to re-energize with more obscure queens. There are tons of queens from older seasons that should be able to be back in the spotlight. I know Dida Ritz has begged to be on All Stars but is never on a cast, with the success of Kylie on AS6, and Jessica Wild on AS8, I was hoping to get more past queens from the single digit seasons. Or, they could focus on getting different type of shows like they are doing with the new winter vacation housewives style show, or a game show, or a comedy skit show. There is so much talent that they could make shows that would fit every genre.

I think fans and queens just need a reality check to be honest. There can only be so many successful, booked entertainers. Especially drag queens. If you're not interesting you're not going to last. Even as a huge drag fan, there aren't many interesting queens at this point.

@@themiasmastream I kinda agree. In the early seasons I feel like half or 1/3 of the cast was unique, interesting, or entertaining. After around season 10, I feel like roughly 2 queens per new season are memorable. It's like they already used up all the entertaining queens who are willing to be on the show already.

The only person who really talked about the struggle to find work, spoke about it years ago and it was Trixie Mattel. She said, YEARS ago mind you, that the real race starts _after_ drag race. These girls have really got to make the most of the platform they are given because that platform is only ever temporary.

I mean it’s a competitive market. That’s just how it goes. Not every queen is automatically going to be booked forever just by being on drag race.

It is very competitive everywhere so... Thousands designers, thousands make up artists, musicians, models, creators in general etc you have to be THE BEST just to stick around as they say, only extraordinary talents stay on top for long
